  9. Hi there, So I'm feeling very nervous about the endoscopy. My last appointment and possibly my biggest hurdle lol. How bad is it? How long does it take? I am afraid of pain or not being able to breathe- probably irrational but would love to hear your thoughts. thanks!

  14. I think what is particularly irritating is the underlying assumption that I haven't tried diet and exercise- That I hadn't put any thought or research into this surgery- That I didn't look at every option and weigh it out. I think that most people who have had or are planning wls are experts at dieting. For me personally I want the surgery to support me with keeping it off. I just wish people would stop thinking its a miracle cure or easy way out.
  15. So excited for you!! Here we go!
  16. It's my date too! So excited with you!! Good luck with your surgery
  17. Keep us posted! I'm 3 weeks behind you and so excited for you!
  18. I have decided to keep it quiet until after the surgery. I think even well meaning people can be a little mean. what is funny to me, is that over the past few months I have actually found out that a few people I've known for a while have had the surgery several years ago. They are incredibly healthy, happy people. It has come up in conversation naturally and each time I feel reassured that it's a great option. I have felt like it was a sign.
  19. I have twin 12 year olds as well double the fun haha. Good luck tomorrow! Keep us posted!
