  3. Paul11011- wow thanks for that dose of perspective! When its laid out that way it feels very different, but its so hard to remember when you go for days and days without seeing a change on the scale. Thanks again
  4. jenlen- I've been tracking food and exercise. My intake is similar to what you wrote but I can try to go up on Protein... How long did it take you to lose the 33 pounds?
  5. Guys- Doing my best to be patient and read everyone's advice but 19 pounds in 6 weeks (4 pounds in the last 3 weeks)... is this still normal? I am barely moving at a pound a week since my first couple of weeks where the majority was lost. Can it be that this just won't work for me?
  6. lanuzaanac- first 2 weeks were clear protein drinks. The one I liked the best was Isopure Fruit Punch. You can find it online. I would drink several bottles of this throughout the day. My doc OK'd me to have full liquid protein drink after one week and the one I use is Proti Max Anytime! Chocolate or Vanilla Drink - Protein Shake, 8 oz. Its 15 grams of protein and I have a few per day.
  7. lanuzaanac- good luck! I was super nervous before mine. It went so smoothly and 3 weeks out I feel great. Just make sure to get your proteins and your energy level will bounce back quick. First week dealt with pain (nothing to crazy). Second week was just tired. What really helped me was tasting protein drinks before surgery so I had plenty at home of the flavors and drinks that I liked.

  11. I think I may try to up my calories to 800 and start with cardio at least 4 times per week. maybe this will help. i will keep you posted
  12. kcolli28- wow we sound pretty similar. Maybe doing some cardio is whats missing from the mix for me. I feel really good with foods and am able to take in tiny bites of chicken breast which is really helping with protein intake. Can I ask you what a typical daily menu is for u? Thanks!
  13. Thanks for the feedback. What is the longest stall you guys had? And do you think its so normal to have a stall so soon after surgery? It seems like everyone has their biggest weight loss in the first month....
  14. HI! 10 pounds down in the first week, 5 at the beginning of the second week and for the last week and a half only 2 pounds.
