I was supposed to get my drains out yesterday....Im still draining! My surgeons wants me to keep them in till Monday..YIKES Allie, Im so scared to get mine out now!! They said it didnt hurt that bad!!??!!:wink2:

LOL ALLIE! I tried to have sex the other day and 2 minutes into it I had to stop:crying: Its funny though that my bf was still into it, drains and all! I have the regular compression garment around my stomach so I have my drains coming out of my pubic area.... But like you said "experimenting" has been great :tongue2: I cant wait to ge these drains out TOMORROW!!! YAYYYY Are you still draining?

Allie, Im glad that your doing so well! Im 11 days po from my TT. I am feeling great and cant wait to get these darn drains out! I am still draining everyday too! As for the eating....:smile: I did not get an unfill and I am eating like a mad women!!! Next thursday I am scheduled for a fill...:tongue: Im glad this TT wasnt as bad as everyone put it out to be..I went to VS yesterday and bought 5 pairs of new SEXY panties!! In size med! I cant wait to wear them with out the drains!!! Did your surgeon suggest you still wear a control garment after the drains for 6 weeks?

Some insurance companies cover some what of a tummy tuck. I believe it is hard to get them to do it and you would more than likely need some documentation of a rash or something that is caused by the excess skin. They also range in price. Mine altogether (Extended Tummy Tuck with no MR, garments, staying one night in the hospital, all of my post-op) was $9030. Im paying some with cash, the other with CareCredit. My surgeon said he is not doing MR (muscle repair) because I do not have any kids and I plan on having them in the FAR future :wink2:. Although, I told him if my muscles are very much seperated he could repair. Im going in for my pre-op in the morning..And my TT is on Friday! Im so nervous :tongue2:

Sue, I am starting to get worried too! I hope everything went ok (which Im sure it did). My TT is next week and I know with her not getting on here to let us know if she is ok is making me nervous! Tiffany

Mine is in 17 days and my nerves are already going crazy! Its all I can think about!! I hope everything turns out great (Im sure it will)!!!!!!!!:thumbup: Let all of us know how everything is going!

Potatie, I will also be staying one night in the hospital. My surgeon did not tell me if I will have a pain pump then. I probably need to ask him. Im paying cash for everything so I dont know if it would be included or not. I dont know how many pills he will be giving me either.. I guess I need to right a list of questions for him (My pre-op is the 16th). Does your surgeon provide you with compression garments for after? I bought a night gown that buttons up from Wal-mart to wear after the surgery (It was $7 so I bought it figuring I would stain it with blood possibly? It is also hideous :cursing:). What are you going to wear home from the hospital?

Potatie, I am also having a TT in November. Mine is actually Nov 20!!! Im so nervous!! I hope that everything goes well for you and I will be watching this thread to see what all you are going through and maybe you can give some advice. My Surgeon does not give the pain pump either. Im am very concerned about the pain!! His office told me that they give Demerol. I have never took this pain med and I dont know if it is strong or not? Do you know anything about this med or does anyone else? GOOD LUCK:thumbup:

So I payed for my TT today...:scared2: Although It broke my bank and then some, I am very excited! I have had my band now for over 2 years and have lost just over 150 pds~ So I def. need one! I now weigh around 170-175 pds over the day..I have always held all my weight in my stomach and so I have most of the weight that I need to lose in the skin in my belly.. So my question to all is what should I expect? What kind of pain is it? What pain meds did you PS prescribe? How long was your recovery? Is there anything special to bring to the hospital?

I had the best time last Thursday night! I always loved dancing but now when people actually like my dance moves lol its great! I rarely go out bc I go to school full time and I am busy as hell! I really dont like the going out thing anymore either..BUT when I do I like to cut some rugs:lol: Last Thurs. my boyfriends sister and I decided we were going out with the our other friend and we were going to the local bar/dance spot! We got cutely dressed I wore a pair of black shorts from wetseal and a shirt from ross! I swear I had the best time and at the end of the night my boyfriends sister and I were dancing on top of a table and having the best time of our lives! I dont really care what people think! I live in a small town and everybody knows everybody so I saw everyone I know and they were amazed on how good I looked (was 330 now I am 176:thumbup:) Just get a cute outfit that you feel confident in and dance your ass off!!!! I actually lost 2 pds the next day after we went out!

I have this same exact problem! Im about a 12 in the waist..and about a 8 in the hips? I weigh 178 right now and Im still not rightly porportioned! I carried my weight all in my stomach at my heighest weight (326) I am now looking into a TT which I hope that I can get done this December! :thumbup: Buying clothes is sooo hard! Maybe after this tt I will be able to buy clothes that flatter me!
