5 months out- going to do a 3-5 day shake fast-any advice?
I'm glad to find this thread. I have been considering doing a liquid diet and wondered if this would be safe. I will definitely be doing a 3 day liquid diet within the nest week or so. Down 72lbs, 70 more to go. Need a boost!

Surgery Today (UIC - Dr. Elli)
Hope you're feeling better. I had dr Elli no drains! My surgery was 5/20/14. I stayed in the hospital 2 days with plenty of gas (upper chest) but they said it was normal. At first I had a double room but the second day they moved me to a private room. The nurses were really nice. I couldn't have chosen a better place to have my surgery. Good luck on your recovery.

He is a man if very little words, but in my surgery date he was so down to earth. At first after surgery they had me jn a room with a roommate. He had me moved to a huge private room. He must really have some clout around there to do that. My follow up appt is June5 wow 1 more day and we would have potentially met! Have you seen the nut yet? Where are you in your process?

I found a winner! 60 grams of protein and excellent taste!
Good idea must give it a try! My only problem is that I am having a hard time drinking my current 11 ounce shake in one day. But as time progress I will shoot for your recommendation.

How did people react to your weight loss?
I am one if those people that didn't tell many people that I had or was going to be having WLS surgery. I actually told everyone but my mom and kids that I was going on vacation. Today I am 7 days post op. Just wondering for all you veterans, if you kept your procedure a secret what were people's reaction when they actually noticed a vast amount of weight loss?

Any May 2014 sleevers?
Hi all, 5 days post op. Feeling very fatigued. I have very bad gas pains that shoot towards my chest. I can drink really well now but on small amounts. It was taking me day1 5 hours to drink 8 ounces of water. Yesterday I almost finished in 1 hour. I have absolutely no appetite. I just drink to stay hydrated. Had 3 incisions 1 really itches. Not too much pain. I haven't had pain meds since Friday. I'll b so glad when I'm 1 month out hopefully by then I'll have some energy. Good luck guys. Can't wait to see some pics In a couple of months. I haven't weighed myself since the day of surgery -17lbs.

Anyone having surgery in May
Had surgery yesterday! Felt horrible lot of gAs and thank God for morphine. Went for a walk today and I feel great. Just a little weak. Now I'm sipping on water. Later they will give me broth.
