Do not drink fluids with your food. Stop drinking half an hour prior and 30 min - an hour after (different drs. have different timing on this issue.) but I was told this was the most important rule.

I finally got the go ahead to eat beans. I chewed them very, very well and I was able to eat the entire can of black beans. That makes me a little nervous and I'm wondering if that's normal.
