  2. Thank you for the info. I tried looking at your before and after pic, but it won't allow me to click on the link.
  3. I'm from Chicago, Illinois. I'm kind of confuse. So your saying it cost over 10,000 and you paid 4,400? Did you get a discount or is that the price without airfare?
  4. Can someone recommend a good plastic surgeon in Mexico with airfare and hotel included in the price? Thank you!
  5. State of Illinois.

  8. Thanks for the info Chiashley. I'm still up in the air about what hospital to have my surgery. Either UIC (University of Illinois medical center), Loyola or Northwestern. I heard nothing but great things about the doctors at all 3 hospitals.
  9. Is their anybody that live in Illinois are familiar with County Care? If so, how long was the process for surgery?
  10. Hi Felisity, I was just at the bariatric information seminar at Loyola last Saturday. How is the process going for you so far? Did you get a surgery date yet?
  11. Your welcome and good luck too you. Do you live in Illinois? If so, what hospital are you having your surgery at?

  14. Well I known a few people with Medicaid said they had to do the 6 month weight lost management program before being approved for surgery. I don't know what state your from but I live in Illinois and I'm with an insurance called County Care which is like medicaid but a little different. When talking with my insurance provider, I asked do I have to do the 6 month weight lost management program and they told me it was up too my Doctor. So I will see what happens. I have my first doctors appointment on June 20th.
  15. Oh ok, I talked with my insurance provider and asked them do I need to do the 6 months weight lost program and they told me it will be up to the doctor. So I'm gonna explain to Dr. Elli, that I'm having so many complications from the band so hopefully that will help. I'm gonna send you a friend request on Facebook under the name Lisa Smith.
  16. No, I haven't met with the nut yet. I guess he will tell me what all I need to do at my first appointment with him. I currently have the lapband so in getting the revision sleeve. I'm just hoping I don't have to do the 6 months weight lost management program. Are you on Facebook? If so what is your name on there so I can send you a friend request?
  17. When applying, do you give the name of your pcp doctor or the doctor that performed the surgery?
