  1. I'm now one month post op and I'm cleared to eat just about anything! I really want to stick to my low carb/high Protein diet cause being 45 lbs down seems to be working for me (; but once I get to the grocery store I feel so overwhelmed. So I need a lot of help in that department! I live in a small town with just a Walmart and an HEB so if you shop there I would love to know some of your staple items that you buy every time you're at the store. Any suggestions would help! Thanks in advance!
  2. Holy smokes, you look awesome!
  3. After surgery it's really my worry right now, it's my liquid diet before surgery that makes me nervous...
  4. I didn't know brushing my teeth would curb my appetite but I will for sure try that! Thank you so much for the encouraging words!
  5. I'm scheduled for surgery July 31st & I've never been more excited in my entire 21 years of life. The most difficult part of this whole journey is that I work in the food industry. I need some advice from other people in the restaurant business on how they got through the liquid diet and how to fight the cravings because even if I just ate I will come into work and see something delicious on the grill an I'm instantly hungry again! HELPPPPPP!
  6. We've been together a year and I haven't dieted during that year cause I got "comfortable" with myself but I've been to "fat camp", done multiple diets, but never while with him. I just don't want any more negative thoughts than I'm already having about the whole situation.
  7. Thank y'all so much for the advice! I really appreciate it!
  8. I've just recently looked into getting WLS and brought the idea up to my boyfriend and the only thing he said was "why don't you actually try and lose weight instead of taking the easy route". Need less to say that started a very heated argument... Being that he his skinny and has been his whole life, how can I get him to be more supportive and understanding and not so judge mental of the whole situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
