I hear you!! I am trying to keep things mixed up so I don't have to much overkill on any one flavor. It's so easy to do with the liquid part of this new life. Try buying some premade sugar free teas. This helped me some.

It will happen just hang in there! Have you tried Premier protein shakes? They are the best they have 30g of protein and are delicious! You can get them at Sam's, Costco, Walgreens and Kroger. They saved me over and over I felt more satisfied with them.

Do any of you have a good low fat low calorie creamy Soup recipe? I want to eat some Soups but I have no idea what we are able to eat when it comes to soup. Mushy vegetable ideas would be great also! Thank you! Kelli

Well I am home now and happy to be here. The surgery was pretty easy but the migraine that came with it was an absolute killer! Finally got medicine to help it and now I am sip sip sipping away. Not as easy as it sounds though. You have to keep at it all day long. Dehydration equals another trip to the hospital. So glad I did it and each day gets a little easier!! Good luck to the rest of you this month!!

Well I am getting ready to leave for the hospital because that's right.......today is my surgery!!!! I can't wait to get this started!!!

Lucky you!!! I have been doing a liquid diet for 2 weeks now. Tomorrow is the clear liquid diet!

So I just got off the phone with the hospital getting my papers in order and my instructions for Friday!!! I can't believe it is finally here!! I have lost 9 or 10 pounds depending on how I step on the scale ! Tomorrow is clear liquids all day and arrive at the hospital at 7:00 a.m. Friday morning!! Loser side here I come!!!

I totally agree!! Make an appointment as soon as possible. You have already started reaching out for help by talking with all of us. You need to get with a professional who can identify your needs and get you a prescription if needed. Good luck to you!!

It has a lot of protein but it is higher in carbs and calories. Go to Sam's or Costco and pick up Premeir Chocolate or Vanilla. It is 30g of protein and the best tasting one I have tried so far.

Soooooo glad this worked out for you!!! 2 days of clear liquids is tough but I would rather go through with that then it being postponed for an even later date! Good luck tomorrow!!

Hello all you Florida Sleevers!! My name is Kelli and I live in Palm Coast but driving to Boca Raton for my surgery on Friday. If any of you have any pre or post op words of wisdom I would love to hear it!

I am having my surgery on Friday June 7th with Dr. Shillingford in Boca Raton and it is all inclusive Labs, EKG, Anesthesiologist,hospital stay for 2.5 days etc. the total cost is $10,500. I did all the checking that is possible on my surgeon and he came out clean as a whiste. I was very impressed with him and his office staff. When I asked why so cheap the answer was simple. He wants people to get help and if insurance won't pay he can make it possible with lower fees.
