  1. I definitely bought things tight so I would get more time out of them. I also bought off the clearance rack for the next season. You have to be careful with that because your not quite sure how much you will lose. Getting creative will be a huge help!
  2. I have to admit this is pretty funny! I would imagine this is going to be one of your top memories in this life journey!
  3. There are clothing exchanges, resale shops, Walmart, clearance racks etc. You will definitely be looking for new clothes but there are ways to make it cheaper.
  4. You are doing fantastic!! Look back at each week and see your accomplishments!! Not every week will be a lot. Your body needs to catch up.
  5. Lost 4 pounds...........GOAL!!!!!!! 233
  6. So far I have lost 57 pounds but weigh in is tomorrow and I am hoping for a few more pounds. I am happy with my weight loss but know that carbs would make it so much slower for me. My body just craves the stupid things so I have to stay away or the monster will wake up!!
  7. This gives me so much hope! I am at 4 months and I know I will lose more but I think there are times that we just can't comprehend what we will be like at 1 year at it is just amazing!! I am staying on program and will continue because I want before and afters just like this! You look amazing and I noticed your husband also lost weight!
  8. Absolutely outstanding!!! Very inspirational!!
  9. You need to give us some more details. How many carbs a day are you eating and how many total calories?
  10. I was sleeved on June 7th and am eating what ever I feel like eating. I am however avoiding the pasta, bread and rice. Everything else is a go!
  11. Oh How I so remember that period of time! It is rough and there is no pretending...... it sucked!!! I too cried, picked fights, was incredibly irritable, bitchy, sad and craved everything under the sun including things I never ever eat. Food was coming at me from all angles........tv, billboards, magazines, friends etc. etc. It does get better as laura-ven and gamegirl said just hang in there ride it out and before you know it you are handling it a lot easier. Your new life begins to ease in better and you find yourself letting go of some of your anger from the loss of your old life. Before you know it you will be dropping weight and feeling great about yourself!
  12. You will be fine..........no worries! Make sure you get all your protein and liquids in this is very typical right now and it will pass. You have done great with losing the 16 pounds and your body just needs to take some time to process all this. Make sure you have taken your measurements. When the scale isn't moving usually the inches are going down. This is part of your weight loss process so you are still losing even if the scale isn't moving. Best of wishes!
  13. Keep your protein levels up that's the key! I am a little over 4 months post op and not really losing much. I am also using Revita shampoo and conditioner. It is a follicle stimulator so it won't prevent hair from falling out but it will stimulate the follicles to produce hair. I figure for the hair that I am losing I am replacing in the already thin areas before the surgery. The last time I was with my hair stylist he checked my scalp and I do have a bunch of little hairs growing in. You can order it on amazon.com it is a little pricey but it does work.
  14. I think your excitement says it all! Good luck and I know you will do great!!
  15. No, you can order it on amazon.com just put in Revita shampoo in the search box.
  16. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the video and the conference sounds wonderful. I wouldn't mind attending one at some point.
  17. When I came home from the hospital I slept in my bed with a couple of pillows to prop me up. Within the week I was sleeping on my side with a pillow under my stomach area to support it. By the next week I was on my stomach........and it was amazing!
  18. Congratulations! You will love your new life! Let the weight loss begin!
  19. Yes, it does work great! I already have new growth and am trying to balance the loss with the new growth so I won't end up to thin. Like I said my hair stylist swears by it. Fortunately I have seen for myself that it does work. Amazon is the best price and yes I definitely use the conditioner with it.
  20. I am 4 months post op and just bought my first tank type spanx for the loose skin. I would definitely wait! Good luck with your surgery!
  21. I am 4 months post op and have been eating both for a long time. Grapes have never given me trouble. I love chicken salad with grapes in it. Yummy!
