Before current The first pic was taken a year ago, on my daughter's b-day. The current was taken on Fri last week. I am down 25 pounds, and feel amazing.

Sparkler, honey, I'm sry to hear about what ur going through, so I pray that what I say will help you w ur answer. Let's start w this, was it hard to get approved? If not, then know that changing ur mind now is ok bc u can get it ltr if need be, n ltr cud mean 2 months, few wks. 2 yrs...ur choice. If it was hard getting approved then think of it in a positive way and just say, perhaps its not meant to b right now. Ik uve read bad stories, so have I, but don't base all of ur decisions off of this forum...do research and speak candidly w ur wls team. Now as I see it, the most imp part of it all, you said that u prayed for guidance, Amen, I always do that too, but if ur still not getting the peace from God that u prayed for, n only u n He know the peace u prayed about, then the answer is a clear No. U said ur dream said no, God comes to us in many ways, if we allow ourselves to listen, I do....I pray that u do too. If ur still struggling against the surgery, don't do it now! It does NOT HAVE TO B DONE TOMORROW BUT WHEN YOU R READY! THE surgeon wont even miss a beat bc ur not there. This journey is urs n urs alone, we support u but won't pressure you here. Please lmk what I can do for u, I'm a faith beliver n u came here for a reason. This is me, right now...the day of surgery it'll be more like:

I can feel your fear- we all have it. Only you can decide if this is the time to change your life. I am 3 mos out and had no issues- no nause, no pain, no vomiting. I am losing at a decent rate. But, things can go wrong and you are aware of them. Your social life in regards to eating will be different, at least for a while. If you don't think you can mentally handle being restricted, not being able to order a 7 course meal, living on chips and cheeseburgers, then it's not time yet. You will be able to eat what you want- you will learn not to want it anymore.

Newhoo, there are a lot of successful people whose gone threw the surgery and doing / did gr8! So I had a awesome moment today that just made me feel great and has gave me more of a boost on my journey.
So I started my Journey at 360lbs and had surgery Jan. 21st. I am down to 245lbs.
Today I went to a cookout with my friends family and my godson came over to me (he is 6). He say down next to me and said "Hi uncle John". I said hi and asked him how he was doing. He said "Uncle John you look different". I told him I lost some weight. He said "I see that" then ran off to play with the other kids.
I was kind of shocked about the whole thing but it made me feel really good.
Just wanted to share with everyone because it was amazing moment.

You also have to look at where your posting. This is a sleeve forum so almost everyone here will be 'go sleeve'. (As I am.) When I made the decision on which surgery was for me, I went around to all three forums, looked at what the banded and bypass people were saying in there forums. Also look to see what they are saying about other surgeries. Each surgery has it's own pros and cons. Look at them all very carefully before making this life changing decision.
