  1. I have lost 144 pounds in 9.5 months with no exercise! I know I should start but damn I hate it. I really am going to start using my elliptical! Really I am! It's going to happen!
  2. They took it out the next day
  3. Not only do I get full very fast but it's a different kind of full then before. More painful
  4. Congratulations! I'm having a tummy tuck consult the end of August. Can't wait
  5. I love to freeze grapes and eat a few in the evenings. Makes me think I'm eating ice cream.
  6. I'm 4 pounds away from my goal of 170. I'm now thinking I want my goal to be 160. My question is will I ever be satisfied? I just can't imagine not being in the mind set to loose weight. Has anyone else felt this way?
  7. My surgery was August 29, 2012. I've lost 144 pounds and I'm feeling great! I'm having a tummy tuck consult in August when I go back for my 1 year check up. Super excited about that. My goal is 170 but since I'm only 4 pounds away I'm thinking I might Change it and have a my goal be 160. Not sure yet. I'm eating no more then 800 cal a day and that's plenty!
  8. I went back to work after a week and I have a stand up job. Made it just fine
  9. At least loose skin you can hide under clothing!
  10. Not possible. I called lots of insurance companies and they all said no. I'm self employed and would have had to sell my business and get a job at a company that has insurance that covers wls. In other words I was self pay!
  11. . My god I love it! Im sure thats not what it is but I'm going with that anyway!
  12. I'm about 9.5 months out and having the sleeve has been great. I really had no idea what to expect as I don't know a single other person that's had the surgery. My recovery was easier then I thought it would be. I really had no idea that I would loose as much weight as I have this fast. My doctor said my cravings would be better but my gosh they have almost disappeared. The only negative is that I now get heart burn but I can deal with that!
  13. My doctor used a 34
  14. Well if you can talk about condoms then I have a question for you men. I'm 38 nice and attractive but why is it only older men (like 60 year olds) that ever flirt with me? What is it I'm doing wrong? Come on men help me out!
  15. I wore a big comfy tee shirt and pj bottoms. I wore the same thing home. You won't need much as you probably wont feel like doing make up and hair.
  16. I've only told a few family members. I'm not ashamed but its just very personal. When people ask me how I've lost so much I tell them I stopped drinking soda and that I cut my portion size way down. It's not a lie because that's what I've done I just don't feel everyone needs to know my medical history!
  17. I'm having a tummy tuck consult in August and that's my 1 year anniversary. I'll be at goal. Every place I talked to said you should be at your goal weight.
  18. I'm 9 months out and can eat anything. I don't eat bread as a tiny bit seems to get hung up. I have developed heart burn since surgery. Something I had never in my 38 of living had experienced. That sucks but I'm learning what foods to avoid so I don't get it.
  19. I know a man who had gastric bypass about 8 years ago and lost 70 pounds. He weighed I would guess close to 500 pounds. Anyway he lost 70 then put that right back on and is still as big as ever.
  20. I had the same problem! So nasty! I ate more carbs and that took care of the problem.
  21. Any sleevers close to Springfield mo?
  22. I'm a single mother of a teenage boy. I have no idea how to meet men! The only ones that hit on me are married or way to old.
  23. So sorry. Hope you get better very soon!
  24. NEVER! Why would you want to after you have went so long without one?
  25. I will never again drink soda. I've not had it in 9 months and if I can do that then why would I give in now? I was so addicted to mt dew that at first I had nightmares about drinking it. In the dream I would forget that I had given it up and I would take a drink. Then I would realize I shouldn't drink it and I would freak out in my dream! I only have that dream once in a while now but I figure if I'm so addicted to something that I have bad dreams about it then I need to always stay away from it!
