SueJH got a reaction from Frustr8 in Banana Pancakes! No flour, only 2 ingredients, bananas and eggs!
Do they taste 'eggy' though? Before surgery I could do an egg sandwich using egg whites, but not very often as eggs sometimes make me sick. I tried doing some egg salad post surgery and even an omelet and just can't without feeling nauseous afterwards. If there isn't a really noticeable egg taste, I think I might be able to handle this.

SueJH got a reaction from Beautiful3 in dumping syndrome?
That happened to me a little in the beginning. Not so much dizziness, but after eating certain things I would get the stomach grumbles and have to get to the bathroom. I think it is just your new stomach getting used to things.

SueJH reacted to Kindle in Officially "Normal"!
Congrats! I downgraded (or upgraded?) my BMI to overweight yesterday, so you are my inspiration for the next step!

SueJH got a reaction from ElyQuint in Officially "Normal"!
As of this morning, my BMI is officially in the "normal" range. I can't believe I am finally there. In the beginning I thought I was a slow loser, but things added up and I am here. I want to lose 8 more lbs and I know I'll get there!

You go treat yourself to something memorable! Jewelry, maybe? A full spa day? Something nearly as awesome as YOU!
Thanks for the inspiration!

SueJH got a reaction from Madam Reverie in Hair Loss - A Harsh Reality. Picture of Loss.
I started losing mine right around the 3 month mark. I decided to cut it short so it wouldn't be as noticeable both with it thinning out and with the regrowth. I'm just reaching my 9 month mark since surgery and it started slowly down considerably about a month ago. It's growing back so I have these little short hairs everywhere. The funny thing is that at my 6 month follow up with my surgeon, he said he never heard of people losing their hair.......really!
Anyway, yes it is a huge shock but it does come back. Also on that note, my hairdresser does notice a little bit of a change in the texture of my hair. Another thing to watch out for.

SueJH got a reaction from atlchick in 8 months...
A little over 8 months out. About 15lbs from my goal. So happy with my decision to do this. Could do without the sagging skin, but I'll work on that!
