  1. If you've got a sweet tooth, then good plan!!! :-)
  2. Oakley girl, you WILL feel better when you get food. But for me it was a full feeling in a different spot. Closer to my sternum than that lower belly full feeling. It feels like you're full up to your throat.
  3. Hahaha! Pixie! Put the children down!!! It took three days before my PPI worked so hang in there!
  4. I had no hunger until 6 weeks out. Then it hit me strong. I learned in my classes that excess stomach acid can mimic hunger so I started taking a PPI and now it's gone :-) Edited - to add "acid"
  5. Hullo!!!!! Didn't see the car pic the first time!!! EXCITED MUCH?????!!!! :-)
  6. Pissed??? (Cute shirt!)
  7. Omigosh!! You are so close!!!
  8. This is a common occurrence. Counseling as a couple would be a really good idea. I wish you the best. :-)
  9. Lurpa, water has a lot of minerals and a high surface tension so it can be hard to tolerate after the sleeve. If you mix some crystal light with it, it lowers the surface tension and makes it easier to drink. :-)
  10. Softballmom, did the doctor say anything about your hunger?
  11. Here's a list of my week one clear liquids: Crystal Light, sugar free popsicles, sugar free Jell-o, Broth, Propel, de-caffeinated tea/coffee
  12. Yes to crystal light. Just don't use the "energy" flavors. They have caffeine. :-)
  13. Once a week - every Monday. :-)
  14. That's my goal too!! Currently at 218 as well!! :-) Onederland here we come!!
  15. Labor Day Monday check in!! Challenge weigh-in: Week 2 weight: 218 Stayed the same as week one weigh-in! Total: down 4 pounds
  16. Awesome Lynda! Thank you!!!!
  17. That sharp sternum pain is my warning sign too. Soon as I feel it I stop (sometimes I stop sooner, but when I feel that pain, that's my last bite). :-)
  18. You have to 6 months from your surgery date and have at least 100 posts :-)
  19. What are your surgeons instructions? Whatever they are is what you should do. They will know what you have eaten or not eaten when they slice and staple your stomach.
