  1. I hope by now you are on the recovery room, wish you the best. Remember....walk, walk and walk and sips and sips of Water... I am doing great, little by little getting to my goal, once an a while I crave some food...but I am really trying to stay on the right path. Join the Gym and trying to go at least 3 times a week.
  2. Hi Chass, its normal to feel that way. You are going to be just fine. In couple months from now you are going to look back and think why I didn't do this earlier. You are going to love the change. Tomorrow is going to be 11 weeks for me and I am so happy for my surgery. Good luck to you.
  3. I stalled on my 4th week, right now I am 5 weeks out. 23 lbs down and feeling great. I know I need to be patience and wait....scale will start moving soon, I hope so...
  4. Congrats, wish you the best! I worked until 7/15/13my surgery 7/16/13 and I just went to work last monday 8/5, almost 3 weeks. Dr. recommende time, i asked him if 2 was fine and he said we will see. I decided to take his advice and enjoy my time off take caring my self. I been doing really good but yesterday on the end of my day I was really tired.
  5. I only slept 2 hrs the night before I picked my girlfriend at the airport around 10:30pm and we were up till 4 am talking ) I had to be at the hospital at 6:30 am. Was fun I ken I was going to sleep the next day for a while. LOL Try to rest and good luck to you.
  6. I wear the same outfit to go home, Deodorant Phone and charger Sugar free halls for your dry mouth and bad taste. The hospital gave me a nice box with everything that you will need.(Toothpaste, toothbrush and etc)

Sounds just like me...depression, fybromyalgia, migraines, a touch af rhematoid arthritis(I don't understand the touch), dr said possible sleep apnea, waking up every couple ours so following morning tired and not energy, snoring bad and keeping my hubby up, lots of medicine.....I was sleeve July 16th and now 17 days later and 18 pounds gone i feel much better. As today I am only taking my Prilosec in the AM and of course my vitamins and minerals... Sleeping really good, hubby said I am not snoring. . Good luck to all of us!!!
  8. Same things happened to me on my second day a horrible headache and i think is normal because of the detox...Not just ulcers, my Dr told me ibuprofen, naproxen and others can cause bleeding and we don't need that.
  9. Yes you can...gets better everyday. I am 2 weeks out and I am not hungry at all. eating my 3 meals and drinking as much as i can between meals. Hang in there.
  10. My Nut told me only if they are flat will be ok to drink them.

  12. My was like 5 days only because first on july 8th surgery was going to be July 26th on July 9 we moved it for July 19 and on July 10 was moved to July 16th. I did it the best that I could, ate some cheese crackers the night before, everything went well.

    Hello and congratulations, 11 days for me and I had my bad moments, feel tired if I walk and move to much around by the end of the day, tried couple things and gave me bad heartburn. I am getting to know my sleeve and I love it.

  15. A friend of mine took her daughter to Colombia couple years ago when she was 16 and she had the sleeve done. Today this girl is as pretty as before but much more happy and confident of herself and of course very healthy.
  16. Hello, I am also 1 week post op. resting at home and just walking around the house. I really want to start going to the gym and do some cardio.

  18. Today it's my 4th day and I been taking 2 Tylenol every 4 hours and I don't have issues.

  20. i live in Florida...My 1st app with my surgeon was may 2nd, my insurance required psicological evaluation, letter of recommendation from my Dr. and nutritionist consultation, I got them done last month, my pre op was last week on July 8th and my surgery is schedule for Tuesday July 16th. I am glad I didn't have to wait longer.

  22. Well, my date changed again, now this is it for sure, 16th of July is my big day. Started my liquid diet today, so far so good.

  24. My Dr. Office called me this morning with great news...they called my insurance for approval and the insurance approved it over the phone, so changes of plans we moved surgery for the 19th of July. Oh boy!!!
  25. I am also in Florida, I live near Tampa but my surgeon is located in sebastian, FL, today was my pre op and my surgery is scheduled for the 26th of July. Very excited and little scare too,
