Gastric Sleeve Patients

Hello and congratulations, 11 days for me and I had my bad moments, feel tired if I walk and move to much around by the end of the day, tried couple things and gave me bad heartburn. I am getting to know my sleeve and I love it.

I'm in exactly the same boat, except I haven't had mine yet. Scheduled in for 2nd Sept. I'll be honest, I'm bricking it! I vacillate between wanting it and then thinking 'dear lord, you're cutting half your stomach away you stupid woman. There is no going back on this one. You're taking such a severe route!'.Can both you guys give me a run down on how you coped with those feelings (if you had them) and how you felt immediately post surgery and for the first few days afterwards? Are either of you saying 'OMG, what have I done?'

My gastric sleeve is also scheduled for September 2nd with Dr. Alejandro Lopez in Tijuana. So far, I am very excited. The minimal diet for two weeks prior to surgery is the stressor for me. I've always had difficulty with having will power.

I'm looking forward to a healthier me!
