Hi i dont have a surgery date yet i have 2 more neetings with the nutritionist then i pick my date im excited and nervous at the same i just want to know what to expect

I live in Orlando and I'm scheduled for surgery in Mexico with Dr. Alvarez on August 1st.

It's getting close, and I'm getting excited. I just wish it was over already and I was already healing. I hope your journey has gone smoothly so far. Good luck and please stay in touch.

My surgeon was Dr. Jawad he and his team were amazing!! Tomorrow I will be 7 weeks out. I was a self pay patient I went to my first consult in January and would've been done with my appointments and good to go in march, but scheduled my surgery in may because of my husbands work schedule. I took 2 weeks off work for recovery could've gone back at about 10 days with no issues! I had very little pain at all during the recovery, the worst was end of week 2 into week 3 at the large incision because my muscle was repairing itself. My husband went to Mexico for the sleeve dr. A Ortiz at OCC during my week 4. My journey has been wonderful!! If you have any questions feel free to ask!

My Dr. Office called me this morning with great news...they called my insurance for approval and the insurance approved it over the phone, so changes of plans we moved surgery for the 19th of July. Oh boy!!!
