  1. I am 4 months post op and 75 pounds down. I have not worked out at all. I have walked more and have taken stairs at times instead of the elevator at work. But not one time in the gym. I did not join because I knew I would not go. Too busy at work.
  2. This question is for anyone that has any good information but more for anyone 6 months to a year out...When did you stop drinking protein shakes?
  3. I was sleeved on April 22 and I have been on the same weight for 3 weeks now also.
  4. I bought what was on the list from my doctor
  5. I drink my Isopure low carb shake in the morning (2 scoops powder in 8 oz water) I have one cup of coffee 2 hours later. I eat something 2 hours later like half avacado with some pico de gallo. Then lunch is prob some kind of cream soup. Then humus or vienna sausage. Then half of protein bar. Then dinner which is something like soup or chicken salad. It all ads up to about 700 to 750 calories.
  6. How are you guys only eating 300 to 500 calories a day? Just my morning 50 grams of protein shake is 220 calories. I have been eating about 700 a day. I was sleeved on april 22 and 4 weeks out. Lost 24 pounds so far. What are yall eating?
  7. I did not have a drain tube. My doctor said that they are not necessary. I am sure that if there is more swelling than normal in the abdomen it would be useful in keeping the excess fluid out.
  8. I had a repair and did not know I had one but I did have a LOT of acid reflux before my surgery. I have not had it since.
  9. I bought those and after I opened the first bottle and tried to drink it I poured it out and took all the rest back to GNC

I am 3.5 weeks post op and today I ate watermelon and I have to say it went down great. Since its mostly water It seemed I was able to eat a lot of it. Chewed it well of course. It was so refreshing.

Why cant it fall out under your arms or off your legs or anywhere else??? Noooo just off the head!
  12. Do you think that you may have stretched your sleeve by eating too much?
  13. They also sell gasx strips that you place on your tongue. They are similar to the listerine strips
  14. My doctor did not want any weight on my sleeve other than thin liquids for the first week. After the first week he did not want any weight other than thickened liquids like cream soup. After the 2nd week mushy foods. He said it was important to follow these guidelines so that the sleeve would not have any stress during the healing process.
  15. I tested positive for H pylori 2 weeks prior to my surgery. I was put on a 14 day prev pac regimen and took my last dose the day before surgery.
  16. I had surgery on the 22nd also. I have lost 15 pounds. I have not lost any weight since hitting 15. I do notice that my clothes are fitting me differently all over though. I am only able to get in about 700 calories a day. I have my 3 week post surgery checkup tomorrow so maybe I can get some insight from my doctor. But actually 15 pounds in 3 weeks is not all that bad.
  17. Since when is NOT telling your personal business LYING? ???? geez LMAO
  18. When I went for my consultation I signed a document saying I received a copy of my right to privacy when it comes to my health care. I choose to exercise that right. Everyone has a right to tell or not to tell. Just because your body obviously changing and it is being noticed does not mean you owe an explanation.
  19. When did it become a requirement to tell people all of your business? I think what we do with our own body is our own business. People have boob jobs all the time but I do not expect an explanation as to why their boobs look obviously perfect all of a sudden and I do not ask.
  20. Today is my 1 week post op and yesterday was missing Sunday eating out with the family.
