  4. WOW!! Look at that waist!!! Truly hour glass!
  5. Yeah there is alot of crazy therioes. I train with a Triathlete USA coach and i have talked to him about this. Basically let it go...it VERY hard to over train. Lifting weights for women is AWESOME but so many are afraid of it. YOu wont bulk up..you will lose weight quicker also. Its almost impossble for women to bulk up lifting weights unless they are taking steroids. But when you have 'harder, stronger' muscle it takes more cals to burn them and you lose weight faster. I would advice lifting weights to all women. One thing my coach said is 'it is VERY difficult to overtrain' so dont worry about it. The only way you can tell is to take your pulse when you just wake up before you even stand then take it again when your standing. Use the diff between those 2. If the diff starts to get smaller your overtraining. Its complicated...just KEEP exercising!!!
  6. Happy Aniversary!!! I actually Rode to work today...12 miles. And i stopped at the gym on the way to lift weights and swim. 14. Hey thanks for all the feedback! A little sore today but i am planning on either a bike ride or a 5k run today. My YMCA is closed on Sundays in the summer or i would be all over that hot tub like a monkey on a cupcake.

  17. Good job UT. Yeah that 5k run is a little different after the swim and bike! Yeah i have been looking on Craigslist. I have to sell my Ninja Motorcycle before i can afford anything right now! Glad it went well for you. When you get your time i would be intersted to see them!
  18. Honestly i dont think i have the time to train for an Iron Man. Maybe a half Iron Man. For an Iron man you have to train 2hrs a day and sometimes 4-6 hours at the weekends.
  19. Thanks Deanna! My next is a Triathlon in August.
  20. Thanks Suzzie. I am trying!
  21. Report in Triathletes I did a Full Duathlon today and about died lol! The 5k run the first 1/2 mile was all uphill..then i finished the 5k in 31mins (ok for the amount of hills for me) Then i cycled 30K (18miles) and it was SOOO hilly. I have never done that many hills. Of course i bought a new saddle and tried her out today which wasnt the smartest thing to do. I know i would of been sooo much easyier on a Road bike instead fo my mountain bike. I got up to 36mph coming down one of the Hills:eek: Then another 5k..boy my legs had trouble going up that hill again after coming off the bike. I made it though. 2hr 39mins. The winner was 1hr 40min:eek: but he is a pro Triathlete (and my coach too ) Hard to believe i could keep my heart rate up for over 2.5hrs. After the race i started feeling a lil dizzy and seeing some spots in my eyes . So i got some Water Melon and Banana and i was ok. Let me see if i can post a pic of the hill that kicked my butt and my new saddle.
