  1. Very similar story (minus the smoking) I just updated my blog as well on how I need to be patient. I too struggled with Hunger...true hunger. Still get hungry, but then I'm full! Must find a happy medium. Congrats on your progress I'm close to you on wt loss as well. 25# since May 13 surgery, and 20# in the 2 months preop. (45 total)


  2. The Scale moved this morning...It was only 1 pound, but it's a New pound. I actually went over 1000cal yesterday. Ate a small ice cream bar 200 cal/2g protein. Was so worth it.

    Thank you for kind words of Support. I've been active getting house and yard ready for company. (Working up a sweat)

    but not truly working out. Will try to make time for that.


  3. The crackers were on my soft food stage plan, and nut was okay with a tsp of sugar in my 1 cup of coffee. She got back to me about the hunger and said that at the soft food stage, the food tends to just go thru you and is not as satisfying. Looking forward to advancing my diet in another week or so. I am on NEXIUM..,have been for years. Maybe I'm still making a little more acid than I'm used to. Thanks for feedback.


  4. Today was better...sort of. Had my am shake blended with 1/2 banana. Lunch shake plain blended with Ice. Drank couple glasses of water and an ice tea. Then lean cuisine at dinner. Was still hungry so ate a cup of steamed broccoli. Then a couple bites of plain yogurt. I'm still hungry, but heading to bed.

    It's hard to go from 2000-3500 calories a day to 900....


  5. Thanks Guys, today is my last day before my pre-op diet. I've got a better grip on my emotions today. I have even made my post op and 1 month follow up appt. last night I dreamt I'd lost more than 10 lb this next week (which is what pre op diet is supposed to do) I was sure in my dream that it couldn't be posible..but dreaming about it, and having my husband be so supportive made me wake up Very excited! I'm gonna lose a sack of potatoes this week!!

    Bring on those Protein shakes!!
