Vickie, I had my surgery at Baptist in Nashville nine days ago. I do not have any of the usual health problems, but I am 57. I have had no real problems. I stopped having any pain two days ago. Dr. Albert Spaw did my surgery.

ckbw, I know that I am fortunate to have insurance that pays. The surgeons who practice at Baptist Hospital in Nashville come highly recommended, but the cost is about average. If you want to contact them, let me know and I will send the information.

I am part of the Blue Cross state teachers plan. It took about six months, but they finally agreed to pay. I was told at first that I was too healthy for them to perform the surgery since I had no problems with blood pressure, blood sugar, or cholesterol. I was about to file a grievance, but for some reason they changed their minds. My surgery is on June 12.

Hello, I am Terry. My surgery is scheduled for June 12. One of the rules that my doctor has is that I attend at least one support group meeting before surgery. I have no problem with this, but there are no support group meeting that I can attend before June 12. If I can find a online chat group or live online meeting group hopefully that will meet the requirement. I would greatly appreciate if any of you could give me some suggestions.
