  1. I guess I can do the 3 miles on it because there is no way in heck I could do 3 miles outside living HERE! I could not do one mile in this heat & humidity....gimme an A/C and I can get it done! Have fun on your trip!:wink2:
  2. Good morning violets~ Michelle-welcome back to the bandwagon It never left, some of us (including me) had just fallen off. Yesterday I had a great day with eating and exercise. I went to the gym and did 3 miles on the treadmill and then a little strength training. Not alot, just my legs mainly. I came home and grabbed the kids and we went to the pool for a while then we walked our butts off shopping. I am trying to remind myself to drink water/crystal light. I realized I do not drink near as much as I used to when I worked...so I am having to learn new routines. I am going to weigh in a few days. Maybe by then I might be at -3 of my -5 for the month. I can hope. I bought a bathing suit not long ago and I had been wearing swim shorts with the top but yesterday I went to buy new bottoms for it because the shorts were too big  so I bought the actual ones that go with the top I bought and I have to say, I think it is cute! I mean, not as cute as if I were back to the weight I was, BUT, it means I am gaining some of my motivation and self esteem back and that is huge for me! Heather-thanks for posting...we were beginning to think we stink or something. Pamela-i will try not to be funky. I love BB as well. Then again, I love it every time. Judy-you still love me? :wink5: I miss KAT.....hope she is having fun wherever she is. Have a great day violets...get out and get moving. If I can, YOU can! because God knows I am normally one of the most lazy folks you'll ever meet.
  3. Terry ~ i hope you had a better day today  I am in a funk, but I will be in here sporadically (sp?) Thanks for the card Suzie...made my day.
  4. OK Judy, so it isn't just me. Not that I want anyone else to feel like I do but it makes me feel better to know that someone is in the same boat. We'll snap out of it :scared2:
  5. Forgive me father for I have sinned.... Ugh, you know what...I hate when I have a few bad eating days because I get this overwhelming guilt and sometimes it is hard to shake off...so hard to shake off that it depresses me into having ANOTHER bad eating day. What a vicious cycle! I will never make my -5 like this....SO, I figured I would come in here...admit my sins and promise to my violets (and me) that today I will eat right. There...I did it. I am going to the gym....that'll get me started in the right direction.
  6. Hi again everyone
  7. Good morning friends~ Have a good day.
  8. HiYa everyone. Pamela-I am so glad you are back! Jesse was the best one to come back in because if it would have been Jessica or cowboy I would have eaten a bullet, LOL I am gonna go look at the pics. DSD went to her visit and they want her to wear this monitor for a MONTH and she dooesnt wanna do it. Since she has been living with us she hasnt had any problems so her mom said if she didn't want to ear the monitor, it is up to her. I told dsd that lets ust see what happens and if the irregular beating starts again we will bring her to a cardiologist in Houston where the best of the best are. She really did not like this doctor. He did not have good bedside manner and he made her cry. So we are going to see what happens. TracyinKS-I knew you would miss us :crying: LOL We did this once together...lets do it again, shall we? Have a great evening everyone!
  9. YW Kat...now if I can get my scales to move in the right direction! lol Good morning violets! This morning dsd is at the cardiologist (long story) so pray that it goes well. She has been having an irregular heartbeat but since she moved in here with us it doesn't do it anymore...go figure. Anyway, I just hope they do not find anything wrong and that it WAS stress related. I had a bad day yesterday. Not too bad with eating but I did have a bowl of ice cream with caramel & chocolate on it. BUT I am going to make up for it the rest of the month. I was just down in the dumps and headed right for my comfort food. I am better today  thank goodness....the scale cant take it! Have a fantastic day everyone! Respect the pouch!
  10. cute cute cute Laura!
  11. Good morning everyone~ SO....how is everyone doing? We are OK over here, just hot hot HOT. Today is payday therefore, pay bills, run errands, grocery shop, you know, the ususal. I am going to the gym this morning first thing THEN I am going to bring the kids to the pool second. Get OUR fun out of the way before the daily grind stuff I am still at 215...and I am not complaining cause I aint gaining! Have a great day everyone. Respect the pouch!
  12. OK but only if we can wear bikinis at the reception and we all have matching violet belly button rings!
  13. I'll just be in the audience LOL
  14. hi everyone
  15. good afternoon everyone
  16. Jenn- :frown: I wish there were something I could say to get you out of that dark place you are in. I wish I could just snap my fingers and make it better. Just know I am here if you ever wanna unload!
  17. Home from my moms -1 child. Macy stayed there...what a shocker, huh? lol Things went fantastic with dsd. She is home now and is all smiles. Looks like we made it through the hardest part unscathed. YAY! Have a great evening everyone!
  18. Jenn-a good compliment goes a long way, right? wooohooo! Kat-way to go!! You will make the -5 this month. I am still working on it! But I have faith! Have a great day everyone. Say a prayer that my dsd makes it thru the day with her grandma unscathed....(with no guilt trips) Respect the pouch!
  19. Haydee....i hear ya about this heat....GEEEWIZ...WHEW! imagonna melt!
  20. This reminded me of HeeHaw where everyone would say 'hey Grandpa, whats for supper' and he would list it all out and the cast would go "YUMMMMM YUM! LOL :tongue_smilie::frown:
  21. Jane-now that u mention it....we rarely (if ever) get forwarded mail. Please do not worry about it, ok? The thought is there! :tongue_smilie:
  22. If it was an accident, the chances are good that the parents will torture themselves on a daily basis with guilt and self loathing....no need for jail, they will be prisoners anyway. If it was purposeful just so they could go play around and not have to take care of the baby, then yes, jail is appropriate, without a doubt. Poor baby :tongue_smilie:
  23. Guess that answered my question from my last post! lol We were posting at the same time! :tongue_smilie:
  24. Good morning friends~ It was so nice hearing from Pamela. Sounds like heaven. Jane-nope-no koozie, yet Kat-omg, Rick has a guardian that is on his/her toes. That is such a miracle! Wow, is all I can say! Suzie-have a good workout at the gym! We are headed there tooin about an hour. Terry-have you and dd started going to the gym together yet? Michelle-love the pics! you look great! Jenn-how are ya? Love ya sista! :frown: Laura-wooohooo, Carson is a all night sleeper now! That is fantastic! Good for you sista! Judy-I am so glad that you are able to get in your pool again! I can tell that makes you a very happy camper :tongue_smilie: Ya know, I was looking at my calender from 2007 and 2008 because I wanted to look to what the average weight loss per month was after surgery. I was surprised to see that it was like 8-9 pounds per month the first few months BUT after that it was like 6-7 per month after that. I dont know why I was surprised, just was. Pleasantly surprised to see that I am not really losing at THAT much of a slower pace this time. I guess it just seems like it is taking longer When I was at the gym yesterday on the treadmill, I injured my middle toe. I could feel like it was rubbing the end of my show and know it feels bruised. You would think my shoes are too small but they aren't. It will probably hurt today when I am at the gym but I will just have to walk thru the pain. I didn't sleep well last night. Macy is going to sleep later and waking up later Sounds like a blessing, right? Wrong, not when I am used to going to sleep by 10. You know, moms can't go to sleep unless the kids are asleep. I could not fall asleep until about 1 (even though macy was asleep) It was not a peaceful sleep, and I woke up at 7. Haydee-does Juan not want to get married at his moms place? (sorry if you posted about it but I didnt see it) Oh, if I did not post a personal to one of you...it wasn't meant to be on purpose, my mind is scrambled this morning! Oh well, so much for the rambling. Have a great day violets! Respect the pouch!
  25. OK, now this is hilarious!
