Kat- that explains the issues I was having too. I drank HOT tea with honey in it and that must have fixed the sinus part...then I had the popsicles and that must have helped with the fill swelling. quick question...I know we had talked about this before BUT the chantix is working overtime. Last time I had my lip waxed i had a horrible rash breakout. What were some of the alternatives you ladies mentioned?

I just talked to Kat She said that she is trying to find out if she can get a complete unfill done in Albeqeurque (is that how you spell it?). If not she is planning to make the 6 hour drive to have it done. She has not had any fever today (thank God). She said she will give us an update as soon as she can...

Good morning everyone! I drank coffee this morning without PBing! WOOT! I really enjoyed talking to Pam last night. When we hung up the first time I was trying to get off the phone and get to the bathroom fast enough cause I was having a PB on orange juice! It was one of those throw the phone and run moments...so I called her back and apologized for the abrupt/rude hang up! lol She is right...we gabbed on the phone like we had been BFF for years! I can not wait to talk to the rest of my violet sistas! The trip is gonna be a blast! Back down to 179 this morning. Amazing what no food or drink will do for you! Ugh...I am SO hungry. Weight might go back up when I can actually eat something and keep it down. Terri-did you call Kat? Have a great Friday everyone!

You folks are scaring me!!

Back from the dr. They did it under fluoro and everything looked great. The actual dr that did the surgery was there and I could tell that he did not want me to have too much removed. They took out about .2 but I can already tell the difference. They said (like Terri said) to baby it for a few days and do liquids and it should be just perfect for me. We'll see! Terri-I am like you...it was really nice to see Dr Spivak today! He is the one that suggested it be done under fluor because as he put it "she is still under warranty" LOL I asked him if I could get an extended warranty Pamela-I used to like Chelsia too but they way she acted there at the end was very childish. (breaking the eggs) I did like her little farewell speech though...lol I hope that Ryan wins (even though I can't stand his girlfriend). If not Ryan, then I guess Josh cause he has played the game so well. I am gonna go take my booty to bed for a nap!

Good morning violets- Haydee-yes Dr L takes insurance but my consult was with a local PS and he is the one that does not take insurance. I am waiting for Dr L office to call me back to schedule a consult with him. I also am looking at Dr Cassco here locally in the Nassau Bay area. He takes insurance too. The fill I got is gonna be history today....I can not even drink water! I PBd on sugar free ice cream for goodness sake! I am calling the dr office today. I just do not consider PBing on liquid normal. I can not even ake my Chantix pill and that thing is TINY! Alot probably has to do with sinus drainage (TMI I know). I would just rather keep the amount of fill I had before and get back on the willpower wagon. Pam & Jane-loved BB last night. Chelsia made herself look like a demented little brat...I hope James is next. Laura-I am glad you are o your way to recovery. Kat-feel better soon! I better get up and head for work...my boss is just gonna love me asking him to leave again! What am I supposed to do, tube feed? lol

Laura-Lortabs are good pain meds. I am so glad that you got a primary doctor appt made. Family drs are so nice to have! I loathe clinics. Tracy-good job so far on the water! Michelle-good for you on doing well today being a model bandster :eek: Terri-hi chickkie! HELP........I need advice........ I may have made a huge mistake getting a fill. When I was having it done I was drinking a protein shake instead of water to try out the restriction. Well, It seemed just right at the dr office. I came home and took a nap and when I woke up...it was difficult to even get water to go down. It is a little better right now. I just had some chicken soup broth with no problem. How many days should I give it to settle before I freak out? Do you all think it could just be swollen for right now or something?

The PS I had my appt with does not accept insurance!! SO, I have to find one that does...I have 2 in mind. We'll see!

Get well all violets! This is horrible to have so many of us sick. Last time we had a wave of that I was one of the sickies!! Hope you all feel better soon! I am back from my fill. They added .4 so that brings me to 2.7 . Thank goodness she got it in the first stick and it did not hurt! I hope this is my sweet spot! You would have thought I would have found it by now. I could add something else here BUT this is a PG thread and I will stop here :lightbulb: LOL (those with sick minds will know where this was going) Anyway....I had lost one pound since I was there in January. I told them that I had actually lost like 7 and gained it back since I quit smoking. She said that I am looking at it the wrong way....I have lost one pound AND quit smoking. Hmmm, she has a point. How is THAT for the bright side?:ohmy: Laura-just call a doctor you wanna go to and say "hey, are ya'll accepting new patients?"....no problem! I really hope that you find something out soon! Terri-i can believe what your sister is doing cause it sounds like something one of my sisters does to my mom. I have had to bite my tongue for years. Divide the weight loss by the starting weight and multiply the answer by 100. Ex: Starting weight = 200, pounds lost = 5 5/200 = .025 .025*100 = 2.5% I found a Q & A about this subject and this was the answer (I just did not wanna change my goal weight It already seems unattainable, why add misery?)
