Hi everyone...we are home! Tracy-I got an e-mail for the Phase II....did you? I am kinda freaked out. Did you get one? Yes we went to Lake Charles to LauBerge (sp?). Believe me...if we would not have gotten a free room offer we would not have gone either!! But...dh got one and so did I so we both booked the free rooms and brought my mom and step dad with us. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the beds are really comfortable. The pools are awesome but the part about the slots being tight is true. I mainly wanted to go for the pool and we brought Macy. She thought it was Cinderellas castle :wink2: Unfortunately TOM was VERY cruel and I could not get in the pool with all of them. I did not gamble cause I need to save every dime for our trip. It was still fun seeing macy have so much fun though. Judy-I wish I would have heard my phone ringing!! I hate that I missed your call and YES you have the right number Laura-I was going to call you but I did not have your number. I only had the original list and not the one Terri gave us. I thought about you though! So much to say and so little time! I need to unpack and get ready for work tomorrow. Ugh I am forgetting something and I can't remember what it is....I hate that! Good night!

Wait, don't get me wrong. I don't care what other people think...I just dont wanna be in a little Gruene jail cell (while you all drink all the margaritas) cause I had to beat the crap outta someone that says I look like I rode the short bus to school....:tt1:

Terri-it really is amazing what happens when drs make the slightest medication adjustment. I hope that she continues to get better & stronger every day. Let me know if I can do anything!

wow...then I guess it is a done deal! Thanks to all you fashionable ladies for the responses. :biggrin: I may have to get some low profile socks for just in case my feet start to sweat...then I would not be able to handle the no socks part. Terri & everyone-OK, shoes were never an issue at work UNTIL...ugh, you know what, long frustrating story? I better save it for Gruene. You never know who is reading... Tomorrow for mothers day, DH, myself, macy, my mom and stepdad are going to Lake Charles to stay the night at a really beautiful casino/hotel. The hotel sent Frank and I each a free night offer. So, he got a free one for he & I and I got my free one for mom & Gene. Sweet, huh? They have a pool that winds around and you float on a innertube....sounds familiar right? It will be the first time I wear my new bathing suit in public. Wait a minute....it will be the first time I have worn a bathing suit in public (in front of strangers) since I was about 10 years old!!! :biggrin: YIKES!! What a scarey thought. I will just have to walk out there like I own the place and act like it does not bother me.:thumbup: Thanks again everyone! I will check in again later!:biggrin2:

Good morning everyone! David Archuletta is a good singer. David Cook is a good one too. They are just different types of singers. One is not necessarly better, they are both the best in their own genre of music. At this point, they will all have a great music careers. I think the person that actually wins the show has to give almost half of their earnings for 3 years (or something like that) to the American Idol show. That is what one of the previous winners had said. That stinks! If that is the case then I am glad Daughtry did not win the show. He deserves all of his money. As much as I like David C....I kind of hope he does not actually win it if that money part is true. They are both talented for sure. So is Sayisha... Oh well...Happy Saturday! I found out a pair of my new little canvas shoes are only good if you are just standing still in them. I was dying at work yesterday while I was walking around. OMG!! I need to just go to academy and get a new pair of Keds and be done with it. OK, it is time for a vote...what do you all think of keds with Capris? Sock, no socks? No Keds in general with Capris. Here is my dilemma...I can not wear open toe shoes at work. I see people wearing Keds with capris and it looks OK to me but when I wear it I feel like I look stupid. What are all of your views? I have never ever left the country. I guess I am what you would call a home girl. But not by choice. DH went on a job interview and it is over by where mom & brothers & sisters live (where I grew up). I have mixed emotions. Things are running through my head like 'it is a great opportunity for us job wise and being closer to mom' and 'omg where will I work?'. There is a slim chance I would be able to transfer back but we would just have to see. i will just take it one thing at a time and not worry about it until they call him and tell him if he has the job or not. Yep...Kat was right...I met my dh online. It was not through a dating site but a normal chat room. I chatted with him the day after Thanksgiving of 2001 and the rest is history. Good morning violets- On purpose....I ate like a pig all weekend and I am not even getting on the scales this morning. i wanted to get all of the temptations out of the way and start over this morning. I felt like I was on a diet for a whole year and now I just needed a weekend pass (well 2 week pass). I am ready for business now! Back to the bandster rules for me so I can see if I can finish this. Or at least get back to where I was which was 173 when I had the flu. Never wish I would get a virus again until now :wink2: Have a great day violets....Happy Monday

Hi Violets- what a fun relaxing weekend I had! I sure needed that. I went and did some shopping for our trip. Me & Jenn will probably end up wearing the same walmart clothes & look like twins! lol Palais Royal also had a great sale this weekend. So I am set for our trip. I hope the stuff I didn't try on fits. I tried on bathing suits....what a joke. I won't elaborate on that one other than to say I will never like the way I look in one but at least I own one. I never did until last year. So, that in itself is an accomplishment I suppose. I will probably still weear a shirt or some shorts over it when we go. I guess I will always have a complex. Jane-I am doing good so far. I have about another week of antibiotics left but I still feel a little knot there. The question is will it flare up again after the antibiotics are gone....we'll see! I need to go get some pre-work week stuff done. Have a great night violets.
