  18. To tell or not to tell....WHO CARES? The original post asked what to tell people when she goes back to work and answers were given on what each individual would say or not say. It really doesn't matter but people aren't dumb, these types of surgeries are very popular and get discussed all the time! I mean you can't really think your co workers and or family & friends won't notice the tiny amount of food you can now tolerate and how fast the weight is coming off (even for slow losers )? Most people figure it out! I personally hope I can help someone that may want to follow my lead

  24. I'm shy 1 day out at 4 weeks and always feel hungry and I think it's because I can only eat about 4 bites tops whenever I try.. Very frustrating!
  25. Why lie and who cares what people say is my opinion They don't pay my bills or live in my body to judge me or my decisions to help me be healthiest I can be. Maybe by being upfront it may help others make this life changing decision that someone at home is not supporting them on....I think when people judge (anything) its because they don't understand and its easier to cut someone down.
  26. Ok I didn't know that about water (sitting heavy)...i have a hard time choking down 8 0z of any kind of liquid but I will try harder tomorrow! Thanks for your help!!!!
  27. I also eat a ton of ice!
  28. No because I know it's not enough
  29. I am 2 weeks post on 4/25/13 and I seem to always be thirsty...I know I'm probably not getting enough liquids because its a little hard to sip that much at this point. Is anyone else experiencing this? Should I be concerned? I was told in a nutrition class long ago that when you have your first sign of thirst your body is already greatly dehydrated?
  30. I'm two weeks post op tomorrow and I'm not sure what I should be eating? According to my book I can try soft foods which my Dr. said includes things I can crunch and so far everything I try I seem to tolerate but an scared to "mess" things up! What is everyone else eating at this point?
