  1. @@CrissyRing77 I lost quite a bit of my hair. It starting growing back around month 7-8. Now I have a bunch of fly-aways-- they might look ridiculous, but I'm so proud of them!
  2. I wish I could like this a million times!!! LOL
  3. Hehehe. Ill take that! lol @@dreamscometrue - I believe you are referring to my, ahem, batwings... They are still, well, batty. Lol - a lovely muscle w/ skin dangling from it ... Small price to pay. I'll take this looseness over the extra lbs any day!
  4. This may not be what you want to hear, but just get it out. Because over time the attacks will become more frequent and more painful (trust me, I TRIED to put it off). And yes, you can die from a sick gallbladder (my grandmother did). I also had my gallbladder removed a few years ago. It's a quick recovery and very little pain (especially compared to the attacks). And you won't miss the little sucker.
  5. Oh wow! So awesome!!! I'm a little jealous! lol
  6. @@jdillon - I just followed my doc's rules & made a few of my own (no rice, potatoes, bread, or pasta). I workout 3 or more times a week (usually everyday)... Jogging, TaeBo, BodyFlow classes, yoga classes, and a few different things around the house (squats, hand weights, planks, stuff like that).
  7. I bought these pants a few days ago and wore them for the first time today!! SIZE 8!!!!! Whooooohoooo!!!! I've been a little upset with my scale, but I'm about to focus on muscle instead. I was dead-set on getting to goal before I muscle up (head games, I know). But pics like this help put things into perspective. So, I think I'll throw out the number goal and start lifting ?? Pic: size 18 vs size 8!
  8. So I haven't dropped weight in the last couple months, which is extremely frustrating. So, I think My body may just be comfortable here. I'm considering hiring a personal trainer to kick it up a notch. For those of you who have, any advice?? Specific questions to ask? What do I need to know? Any suggestions would be appreciated. This seems like a big investment, so I want to chose the right person. Thanks in advance!
  9. Everyone is different. Every diet is different.
  10. Completely normal.
  11. Hunger is pretty rare here too-- I love it!
  12. Thanks y'all! I'm having so much fun with her! lol & I know I wouldn't have enjoyed it this much preop... Also, I was always dead-set against motorcycles, and now I'm letting (almost begging) the hubby to get a motorcycle,,, NEVER would've even considered riding one before... Strange!
  13. I'll have to look into that!
  14. I have a feeling I'll need this body to flirt my way out of speeding tickets.
  15. I opted for the v6- v8 was just too expensive for me. And it is a fun drive! And I got the RS, you know, just to look "cool." lol This was def a bit of an impulse buy... I was actually going to buy a Toyota Camry. LOL.
  16. Not totally weight loss related (well, maybe a little). So, on my first day back to work after my sleeve (Aug 2013), my car was totaled in an accident. I had a short moment of panic when the airbag hit my newly healed tummy, but I was fine & so was the other driver. Phew. And today, I finally bought a new car-- a car I would've NEVER been comfortable in when I was larger. I think I'm in love... Plus I look totally cute next to it. lol
  17. Some docs don't. Mine didn't. It just depends on his/her belief if it helps.
  18. Please no tampons during surgery.
  19. I enjoy frozen yogurt once in a while as a special treat-- but I would never buy it to keep in my house. It would only make me want more.
  20. So awesome!!!!!! Congrats!
  21. Yes, medical professionals tend to dislike tampons-- bc well, who wants to change someone else's tampon?? lol
