Suggestions on what to eat?
- Relaxing on the 30/30 rule?
I was told 15minutes before and 30 after. It works fine!- How many of you have lost hair?
Today I saw on tv (the doctors) a feature about hair thinning. It was recommended that we use men's products because the contain 5% of the growth product where women's products only have 2% this is because the product can grow hair where it's not wanted. Like shampoo running down the face and causing hair growth on the face.- Sleeve on 4/23/2013
I was sleeved on 3/26 and am feeling the same way everyone else is. I did this surgery because a friend had lost 140lbs with bypass. She raved about it, never telling the tough beginning. My problem is not about the food because I don't really feel like eating anything. I still don't feel well. I am constantly nauseous and sometimes vomit. Some of my problem could be depression as I lost my job the day before surgery. I thank God because I don't feel I could have made it back to work at three weeks. Also during recovery I have torn something in my knee and am on crutches. I want to thank everyone for telling us newbies that life goes on and it will get better. Please tell me that the bad taste will go away, along with my weakness and nauseous. Go March and April sleevers.- 5 weeks 3days
Wow. Was sleeved on the 26th of march and can say I don't think I have lost like that. I have lost 33 lbs.- 5weeks after surgery
I was 260 at surgery. Down 35 but had a week stall at the 3 week period. It is now slowly starting to come off again. I still feel tired and weak and don't exercise because I have a bum knee. I don't know if I am getting enough Protein in me and know I am not getting enough fluids.- 5weeks after surgery
I am also 5 weeks out. I eat everything. The best treat is filet mignon. You can buy a serving for $3.00. I am interested in hearing more suggestions because I am bored with eating. I now feel like I have to make my self eat to live now.- Nothing I Eat Tastes Good

- Every ache and pain in my lower body...
I went to the hospital the other day thinking I had a blood clot. My leg had so much pain and my knee was very swollen. They do an ultra sound on you. I didn't have a clot but they don't know what is wrong with my leg. They wrapped me and sent me home on crutches.- Still feeling weak after 3 weeks
I was sleeved on 3/26 and still feel like I can't return to work. I and not getting in all of my water or protein, I am sure that is part of the problem. Anyone else still feel weak? Do you feel totally recovered? Also do you notice nothing taste good anymore? I couldn't wait to have my first crab cake last night and it was just so so.- Anybody regretted it, even with no complications?

I had surgery on 3/26 and am having a tough time. I can't drink any liquids and am lucky if I get a couple of swallows down. Nothing taste good even water. Did you or anyone have a tough start. I'm tired of reading how great the surgery is.- Would You Have Weight Loss Surgery Again?
I am 9 days into my surgery. It has not gone anywhere near what I had expected. I have been back to the hospital for 2 bags of IV. I haven't gotten out of bed. Everything taste horrible and I am not getting my liquids or protein in me. I have had nonstop diarrhea. The only thing I can think of is that patients forget this first week or two of hell because the benefits out weigh the hell of recovery. I would like to hear from patients who have experienced this also and give me some advice and tell me when I will start feeling better.Account
