  1. Nesa, I started day of surgery (June 24th) at 273lbs & I am 5'3"! My highest weight was 3013lbs. We have a common there. Good luck on your journey!
  2. I feel it's the best, but yes it does have a lil after taste. I make it better by mixing half of it with crystal light lemonade, then I don't notice it. I also freeze it in a popsickle holded I bought at Walmarg for $1.50. For me I get it down faster that way. I still have a hard time getting my protein in , just cuz I get so full so quickly. Good luck & I hope this helps!
  3. Hey Triple... what kind of diet are you on? I was sleeved on June 24th &I had to do a 2 week low carb diet. It was hard but the last 2 days I only did my protien shakes with almond shakes & drank a bottle of magnesium citrate. I wanted to be sure my liver was shrunk enough. I did cheat that first week by pigging out on a pint fried rice. I ended up losing only 3 pounds that first week, then 10 the second week for a total of 13!!! Ask me any qeustions you want , & I will try to help you!
  4. I was sleeved the 24th & feel great when I tAke my hydrocodone. I just filled my 2nd prescription. If I were you, I'd call & insist on a refill. There is no reason to be in tjat much pain. I will pray for you. Take care!
  5. It's called the loser bench, because we are now "losing" weight! !
  6. Im not getting all my protien in either. I have NOOo energy.Have you tried other brands of protein drinks? What might help is mixing isopure with crystal light. That's what I do and I also freeze and make popsickles. This stage sucks, but we're still healing
  7. Brandnew...I totally agree and cracked up when I read this!!!
  8. You are so welcome. That's why we r here for each other!
  9. So do you feel with not getting all your proetein in, have you lost a lot of hair?
  10. I am doing the same as you for "food". I have eaten Jello also. I swish my jello into liquid, for something different. My incisions don't hurt? They feel itchy & hot. I keep my heating pad on my tummy to help with gas. Hope this helps.
  11. You look aaaaammmaaazing! I just got sleeved 6*24*13 day before surgery I weighed 273!! Im 5'3" tall? So we are kinda in the same boat! I hope I can be as successful as u have been. Thanks for keeping those pic up! Such a great motivation to see. Thank you again * keep us posted.
  12. Ohhhhh yeah, I read that. I was thinking she dumped because it was a BEER CHEES Soup & ate too much.
  13. I was sleeved also the 24th. Starting to get liquids down, But very sleepy still.
  14. Is it the Isopure protein water drink in glass bottles or is it the shake? If it's the protein water, you are fine. You need that protein for health reasons and fat lose / muscle gain. Maybe try s.f. popsicles or Jello, if u cant drink water down. Best of luck!
  15. Please call your doctor and tell them what you just wrote. Personally, I think you may be walking to long. You just had MAJOR SURGERY. I hope you feel better soon. If your doctors office is not open, I think you should cut your walking time down to 5minutes. Just my opinion. Take care! {{{Hugs}}}
