Entire body tingling

I am 3 days out from surgery and I have been walking for 30 minutes twice a day at the playground across the street. Once I am done walking i feel kind of light headed but what is bothering me is the numbness/tingling feeling on my left side. I drink 12.5grams of Protein before i start along with my Multivitamin. I am sipping Water while I am walking when it is needed and I drink another 12.5 grams of protein once i make it back home

Has this happened to anyone else and of so do you have any suggestions to preveny the tingling feeling

Please call your doctor and tell them what you just wrote. Personally, I think you may be walking to long. You just had MAJOR SURGERY. I hope you feel better soon. If your doctors office is not open, I think you should cut your walking time down to 5minutes. Just my opinion. Take care! {{{Hugs}}}

I had the same thing. I went in and had a blood clot ultra sound in my legs and nothing showed up. Some say its from getting jostled on and off the operating table and pinched a nerve. Mine lasted a few days bad and still get a little now, nothing bad. I started reading and found that runners get cramps from not being hydrated and low potassium. I drank gator ade and added more water...as much as i possibly could. Even half a banana for the potassium. I used to eat a banana a day. This seemed to help. But...talk to your doctor. This may not be the same thing.

I have the saem thing one my right side.... Actually I feel it most in my leg. I spoke with my Dr. And she said as I lose fat the neves move and it is normal.... I still fell it off and on but do not worry about it much. Oh yeah I too had some tests done to make sure it was nothing serious....

However, that being said I would go see your Dr. To get it checked out. All of our bodies are different. In that type of situation I would not mess with this. Best wishes!
