  1. Ok... feeling muccch better! Got some hydrocodone down and my other pills. I also got my heating pad out again to use! DDAAAAHHH! WHAT WAS I NOT THINKING! That was the key for me in the hospital and just forgot to do it here at home. I'm not feeling bloated anymore. Still hard getting so much water/protein in.
  2. I was sleeved Monday, June 24th. I am having a tough time drinking fluids also. Very frustrating. Constant fullness. Taking my crushed pills is the worst.I just made myself a protein shake , took one sip and I am so full & uncomfortable!!! Hard to take my hydrocodone also. Hopefully this will pass soon!!
  3. Where are you in the states? I am in Iowa.
  4. This is such a great prep time for you. I can't even imagine NOT doing this pre op diet! You will be AMAZED but the weight that comes off when you go into surgery and get weighed! I was discouraged the first week, with only losing 3 pounds. I was elated day of surgery when the scale showed I had dropped another 10 pounds!!total of 13 pounds!! it felt soooo good and promising to know I was on the right track! Don't weigh yourself in the hospital. I had gained 11 pounds. They told me that was normal from the i.v.s and healing process. I weighed my self tonight, Post op 5 days and I've released/lost 4 of the 11 gained. So I'm not worried. Be strong and aske them for WHATEVER you may need! Best wishes.
  5. Ella, you are soooo very welcome! When u get out of recovery? Lay on a heating pad for a few hours, then place on chest/ tummy area. This helped me sooooo much with the gas until I could get up and walk. I had forgot my heating pad, but the hospital had one. So, please be sure to ask for that as well. {{{Hugs}}}
  6. I will say a prayer for you & the rest of todays sleevers. Dear Jesus, please watch over todays sleevers as they begin their new journey. Watch over their surgeons , & give each person the strength and comfort needed during & after this surgery. Please take the worry away with the faith they have in you, this I ask in your name, Amen. I hope this gives you all a peace of calm. Also be sure to ask for a "cocktail" before you go under. It helps so much. Sending {{{hugs}}}- She Wins 1
