  1. I always say that I don't have a goal weight or clothing size, just that I look like a "brick house." And that means loads of weight training to improve the shape that I've got.
  2. Me too, except for the chewable Multivitamin (now I can take the regular kind, thank goodness). I'll be splitting or crushing the Calcium pills that I start taking today - they're huge.
  3. I took 2 pills on the 7th day and have had no problems since then (4 days).
  4. Glucerna Hunger Smart chocolate shakes are lactose-free, 15 gm protein, 5 gm fiber, and yummy! Muscle Milk is a little too sweet for me.
  5. All I brought and used was my iPhone. Just had to make sure it stayed charged. I was only in the hospital overnight, though.
  6. Oh thank goodness it's not just me. I was sleeved last Tuesday 6/18 and haven't lost a thing. I can see changes in my body, however.
  7. Surgery at 12:30 today!
  8. My surgery is tomorrow at 12:30pm. Today was rough (clear liquids + laxitive = no fun) but am really excited to get this journey started.
  9. Tomorrow's my day too - can't wait!
  10. I've been trying them out and they make me gassy. My body doesn't like the sugar alcohols, I think.
  11. My surgeon is Dr. Sudan and it will happen at Durham Regional. The pre-surgery appointments are Monday, I'm away the next week, then surgery is on June 18! Does anyone have more than a handful of VSGers at their support group?
  12. Yay for Sleeve Sisters! And Brothers and Cousins...
  13. I've been trying to chew slower... so hard, need to be more mindful of this. Haven't started separating drink and food yet but thanks for the reminder. Monday is my pre-surgery appointment and surgery on the 18th!
  14. Next Monday is my pre-surgery visit, then I'm away the next week, and surgery happens on the 18th. Time is flying!
  15. I don't like cream of whatever soups alone. Butternut squash soup is divine, however.
  16. Check out LessOfSarah on YouTube - she started out at 460 and in 6 months is down 150 lbs.
  17. Could you share your list as well?
  18. I have a channel (neneh99) but I won't be uploading vids. I do have a FB page, however, and just friended you (Neneh Sleevelicious). Speaking of which, get at me on FB June sleevers!
  19. NerdInOregon, we're surgery sisters! Love your YT channel.
  20. Has anyone tried to freeze these?
  21. My surgeon's office has their patient manual online: http://www.dukehealth.org/services/weight_loss_surgery/care_guides/bariatric_surgery_diet_manual/the_recommended_diet_following_bariatric_surgery But the best would be to see a medical professional who can help you with your specific issues -- everyone's journey is specific to them! Hopefully you can find a primary care physician or nutritionist near you who has worked with bariatric patients.
