WOW your in a little jam to say the least. I am allergic to morphine kind of interesting to see what they hit me with. I think your doing the right thing talk to your Doc, ahead of time so they can figure out ahead of time what meds to use on you. Im sure they can come up with something you shouldnt have to go about it without pain meds. The surgery to me is no joke part of your stomach is being removed. I hope you figure this out. good luck to you, and I hope you comfortably recoup.

I dont know if its the same thing but I have to qyit smoking to have the surgery its so bad they check your blood for it ughh , Seems your friend is on the right track she told her surgeon. As far as getting around the rules, I would do whats asked, after the surgery she can resume her smoking .

Um your scaring me . I thought your not supposed to be hungry because they take out the part of the stomach that triggers the hunger But i havent had the surgery and am totally a novice . i am waiting for a date hopefuly in May. The only advice I can offer is look at how much weight you have lost in such a short time. I pray I can come close. Thats an awesome acomplishment!! You should be so proud of yourself. So when that demon shows his ugly head, go look at yourself in the mirror . Look at what you did. Look at your hard work , and your looking good . Dont let it take that away from you. Good luck dont give your demon life , ignore him!!!

No my final appt with surgeon is may 1st then off to insurance company goes everything and I sit back and patiently wait. I recently got out of a relationship in dec. It killed me, self sabatoge ??? I put on about 25lbs since then. But im still so hurt over it. Dont hide yourself after you are done with your surgery and you are comfortable, you get out there and show the world who you are. You said your a leo, so your not supposed to be a backround person, you should be front and center!! I too someday soon want to be confident again. He just took so much out of me its still so hard , but I have mourned him enough. UGHH ssssssso ooooooo hard to get back on your feet. But I have to believe we can do this.

I am by far no expert on anything , but you bring up alot of legit questions , and your not alone. But one thing I have learned in my life is if you dont or cant love yourself , how do you expect someome else too? Example a decent man. Your scheduled for surgery so thats a major plus , you will be given a chance to improve yourself in many ways , take the opportunity and run with it!!! Dont waste it with thoughts of self sabatoge, you are worth this and you can do this!! Take it from a self sabbatoger im trying my hardest to get out of it , I am my own worst enemy. I am going to try to change my whole being with this surgery my thoughts my eating habbits , everything. For once I want to be a winner. If you ever need to talk I m around feel free.

lol Nice topic. I my friend can not help you with an answer, I am like you ADDICT!! I also do my best work at night alone. On top of addiction I also can throw in emotional eater. I hope those staples they put in me are tight. lol Just kidding . I am hoping once I start to loose weight it will all finally click for me . How is it being a food addict and not being able to eat? Is it getting easier with the sleeve? I hope im one of those people that just dont feel hungry. I can only pray, you have great weightloss so you must be doing ok with it. I understand we have to eat alot of protein. But I am wondering does anyone eat fresh salad or fruit after surgery?? Or vegetables?? Please dont get me wrong I am a junk eater but love salads to go along with my junk lol. Does anyone eat anything besides protein??

First of all I totally get where you are coming from. I am surrounded by alot of those at work myself . I call them "THE PERFECTS" . It was hard at first to get used to having them in my face all the time but after 13 years with being around most of them I have come to the conclusion, that most of them do not intend to harm and truly feel that way about themselves even at 120lbs. They have never been heavy so at 120 you put on 10 lbs they feel it they see it. So yes they are going to complain about it just like we would . I think most of them just really dont know any better nor do they know the impact their words have on us. I dont know your co worker personally so i dont know if shes the vindictive type if so, you had some good advice earlier from TES but you dont have to give her a play by play if thats the case. If not dont let her ruin your good happy thoughts. Stay true to yourself, and please dont refer to yourself as a troll ....... YOUR A BEAUTIFUL GIRL!!! and about to just keep on getting better. Hi I am at the tail end of what your doing, this Weds is my 5th weigh in. I know its a long hard road and expensive time consuming it all sucks. but slowly and surely its almost here. Hang in there!

Ok first things first you need to take the scans, how else can your docter help you? god forbid what if somethings wrong in that area that can be fixed? Even if your self pay 5 dollars a month keeps you out of collections. Your health comes 1st.
