I'm in wichita falls . I used Dr Kim. I was sleeved Oct 22 and I've had to make some changes to my diet but I'm down 28 pounds. I'm not exercising and I know that's bad ugg I can't get started! I'm so happy the scale is going down and not up.

Today's weight: 308 which means I'm down 8.4 lbs in one week!! What the what? That's insane. I guess having a nasty cold does have an upside. Fingers crossed that I don't gain it all back as I start to feel better.

@Whodatgirl, I didn't think about your login name until I read this post and then I knew we had a Cajun in da house! I grew up in SE Texas just close enough to the border that we sure did get some good food. Next vacation is going to be NOLA in a few months (after your craziness with Carnival is over). That will be a bigger challenge for me than Thanksgiving and Christmas combined! Best of luck on the challenge! Hang in there!

Heads up about the next two weeks...
I am preparing to leave the country on Friday (24th) for just a few days. I'm headed from Houston, TX (USA) to Doha, Qatar (next to Saudi Arabia) to present at a conference there. I am so very excited but still have a lot to do to prepare.
I tell you this to let you know that I may be slow to respond for the next weigh-in, but will easily be able to catch up when I return the next week. Just thought I'd let you know to be patient with the postings/responses over this period. We're making some incredible progress and I have no intention of jumping ship. I really don't think I would be working so hard without this challenge to motivate me, hold me accountable, and help me stay on track. Thanks to all for this crazy, fun group and our journey together!
