The photo at the top left is me at my heaviest (489lbs) and the photo on the bottom right hand corner is me today at my current weight of 260lbs.

I have to vent...it's so aggravating when people get this surgery and then complain that its been 2 days and they didn't lose 100 pounds. Maybe we all have different expectations, but I can't believe people who have just had the surgey and are upset they only lost a "few pounds". This isn't a cure all, miracle...it's hard work and it takes time. I didn't gain 140 pounds in a night....and I am not going to wake up in recovery 140 pounds lighter. I am very happy with my success...but I think I have to leave this forum as there is way too much negativity and I am only about positive things now. Sorry...just so frustrated reading these posts.

First bikini season in many years! I've bought several. Can't help it.

Hey fellow sleevers, down 93lbs with 15 more lbs to go. Am 6 months out - no complications except a dodgey gallbladder that I refuse to get taken out! No hair loss, no stalls, and minimal lose skin so far.
Attached is a cheesy bikini pic that I was going to save to compare to my one year when I have abs of steel and a killer tan to match - but what the hell. I was really curious to see others post weight loss to see scaring and lose skin etc but they are really hard to find! So heres mine! Please note that this is post c-section of a 9lb baby 11 months ago!
If any are brave enough to share theirs please do - I need inspiration!

Just got my surgery date -- June 3rd!!

I am 26 years old with three kids (two boys 5 yo & 2 yo, one girl 1yo) and a husband of two years. I am from Louisiana and my surgery date is June 3rd. I need to have this done to get healthy for my family. I have a fatty liver which may not seem like much, but my mom found out she has cirrhosis from her having a fatty liver for so long! I am a nervous wreck thinking about surgery. Yes I have had other surgeries before, but this is different. I wish us all a long healthy life!
