  1. I did the same the thing. I am now two months out an have lost 50 pounds and a whole shoe size!
  2. One month has flown by and I had my big weigh in at the doctors office, which I was excited to see what it would say. I am at 202 from 235! In one month I lost 33 pounds and have went down a size in pants and 1/2 a shoe size. I also was wearing a 2XL to now wearing some L. So glad I had this life changing surgery!
  3. I had them about a week ago. Did fine with them and eating more for supper tonight. Surgery June 3rd. I say go for it. If worried about about the seeds just cut it thin and pick around them
  4. I was told the same thing, but have drank through one (didn't mean to, forgot) and didn't notice a difference.
  5. For the life of me I cannot get all my fluids or all my protein in, in a day! I have been trying and came close a few times, but never all the way there. Anyone else having this problem?
  6. When you are sitting around and you think I want something to eat and go get it, but knowing that you were not really hungry (stomach wise)! Also, you have a few bites left in your plate and you are so full, but your brain says, oh it is only a few bites go ahead and eat it!
  7. I HATE protein! It makes me sick to my stomach, also! I found one shake that I can take, but it takes all day to try and get it down. It is premier protein, I got it at Sam's and it has 30 g. I am able to eat yogurt now. The best one so far is Dannon Light and fit GREEK. They have strawberry, blueberry, and vanilla. They have 80 cals. and 12g of protein. I eat 3 a day right now to get my amount of protein. Much better then the shakes and powder.
  8. I am taking this time (early stages) to show food who is boss! I sit and eat every night with my hubby for supper. I cook him whatever he wants and eat my yogurt or whichever I pick within my doctors orders. Don't hide from food! I think if you don't do this now you will end up eating the things that got you to this point.
  9. Lost 20 pounds since June 3rd surgery date. Can tell alittle in my clothes. I am staying hungry about every 2 hours!
  10. I am from Franklinton and had my surgery with Dr. Redmann in Covington on June 3rd 2013. I am down 20 pounds so far.
  11. I am eating greek yogurt with a baby spoon RIGHT NOW!
  12. Mine has gotten better. I was worried it was a hernia. I have a 13 month old daughter and thought I may have been picking her up too much.
  13. It may just be that it is a different scale. That is why I didn't even buy a scale. Weigh the same day that you go back to the doctor to compare.
  14. I know how you feel. I am 2 weeks out and I just eat something because I know I need it. I only eat just enough to get me by. It is not that you don't want to eat, it is just that if you can't have something you want you would rather not eat anything!
  15. I am 3 weeks post op and since yesterday I started having a pain to the right of my belly button. It is only when I get off the couch or picking something up off the floor. Did anyone have this problem?
  16. Was sleeved June 3rd and lost 20 pounds week one.
  17. I do get discomfort in my chest and feels like I need to burp. I just got that yesterday for the first time. I was worried I had eat too much! Thanks for the reply
  18. I am 3 weeks post-op and can't tell when I am full. I eat very little at a time because I am worried that I will get sick and throw up or mess my sleeve up! What does it feel like?
  19. What have you been eating?
  20. Are you still losing? That is alot of food. I want to start other things because I too can't stand the protein shakes. I am just worried I will not lose the weight like I need to.
  21. Decided to go to ER for fluids since the doctor said it would help my lightheadedness. I got fluids and was sent home. I am back home and still lightheaded. Am drinking as much as I can and it is not helping. I hope it goes away and I will not have to call the doctor back.
  22. Congrats to everyone with the babies, but boy am I glad I have had a hysterectomy before my sleeve!
  23. I don't know about weeks after surgery. I am having the same problem, but I am only 9 days out. The doctor told me I am dehydrated and if it doesn't get better by tomorrow then I have to be admitted to get fluids.

I have been lightheaded since yesterday. Almost passed out one time yesterday! Being at home with three kids, that was scary. I checked my BP and it was 95/65, very low. So I called my doctor's office this morning because I am still lightheaded. They said it is because I am dehydrated! I believe it because I have been having a hard time getting the 40ozs. in, but have been very close everyday. So, now I have to try to drink as much as I can today and if it doesn't get better then I will hav to be admitted to the hospital to get fluids. I am doing nothing, but drinking all day. So far I feel the same.
