Such a cute post!!! Congratulations! I wonder if I have a collarbone too under all this fat???
  2. Lucky you....only $250 to learn that? I paid $495 to learn that same thing...that I'm an emotional eater. Pffttt.....I could have told them that myself for FREE! Well, I paid $25...my insurance paid the rest. What a rip tho! Glad it's behind us both!
  3. A nice accessory to your designer hospital gown?
  4. True, but do they get up in the middle of the night to walk as well?
  5. If they give me a choice, I may opt for a catheter...makes life so much easier! Glad to hear your surgery went well & that you're already bouncing back! Hope I'm as fortunate as you when I get sleeved!
  6. Wow! You did carry your weight well tho! You didn't look like you weighed 297 at the start & you look like you weigh less than 213 to me in that last photo too? Lucky you! Beautiful girl!
  7. The change is amazing! Bet its even hard for you to imagine it! How do you feel? Do you feel like you have more energy? Do you just feel better in general? That's what I'm hoping for! I meet my surgeon next week...a bit nervous! Thank you for sharing! You really have changed so much!
  8. I wouldn't be too worried about hair growing in thicker or leg hair growing in faster, unless you have to braid your leg hairs so you don't trip over them! The few people I know that have had WLS in my real life, have all said they lost a bunch of hair just months after surgery but it's all grown back in! WHEW! My hair is the ONLY thing I have going for me!
  9. Wow! Are you Rachel Ray in disguise? That's awesome! But I' looking for something very simple, like a stir in powder or something like that! Thanks! I will print out your instructions tho, just in case I get really ambitious! P.S. Never thought to save all the bits & pieces of veggies when I'm making something! That's a great idea! My Mom would be very proud of you! Thank you so much!
  10. Couldn't have said it any better than rebecca_dsu! From this day forward proudgrammy!
  11. 240 sticks of butter GONE! Imagine that visual! That's amazing & like futureloser said beautiful before & after but after you're "WOW beautiful!" Enjoy your new self!
  12. That's awesome!! Look at how much your face has changed too!!! Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. I have no words of advice for you ladies since I'm not up to that point yet, but I do want to wish you both the best. Hunger is NOT a good feeling! My doc said that when I'm on the pre-op diet, I will get 4 protein shakes & 1 smart meal per day. Protein, veggies & very little carb. I am not looking forward to it but I do want to adhere to doc's recommendations so that I can have a safer surgery. Hugs for you both!!
  14. I don't know if she does, but I'll be glad to hear your suggestions!
  15. Wonderful news, all around! Hope you have an easy pregnancy! Congratulations!
  16. That's awesome! God bless you!
  17. Is that helping you?
  18. I'm hoping that ice cream & pizza will taste like Bat's ears! Hopefully good food for my body will taste like pizza & ice cream!
  19. I wish I could say something to make you feel better but I haven't been sleeved yet. All I can say is that I'm scared now. Hope you feel better soon!
  20. Made with Real Coffee????!!!!!! I'm in!
  21. You can still make a whole sandwich & just wrap the other half for the next day! That's what I do now just to eat a half sandwich for lunch. The next day, my lunch is already made!
  22. Where do you find sample packets of Unjury? Where do you get Unjury in fact? LOL!
  23. Oh heavens, I don't plan on EVER giving up pizza! Just will have to eat less of it & yeah, 4 slices, no problem! Hopefully after I'm sleeved, 4 bites for special occasions. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this....
  24. I think it's wonderful that even tho you have regrets, that you are able to find a positive! That's one step closer to acceptance, which will bring you peace eventually. Wishing you the best!
