  1. Thanks all. None of my paper work said anything about being tired. When I'm awake, I get liquids in pretty good. I guess body knows best! :-)
  2. Where did the ou download them from? I could use some ideas.
  3. Have you tried an underbust corset? Kinda kinky and leaves the girls exposed. Then you can put on a light weight robe or open shirt tjen can quickly be thrown clossed if needed. Also...lock the door. Lol.
  4. I was sleeved on the 5th, and also had gallbladder removed and a hiatal hernia fixed. I was feeling great yesterday, it today I just want to SLEEP! Did any one else feel like this? I am not sure if it it's the pain meds, or that I started a heavy period yesterday, or just my body wanting to heal in general. Hard to get my liquids in when I'm snoring. Lol. I am still tryin got walk as weel, but can't get very far when I start to feel light headed and faint. Did anyone feel like this?
  5. Hoe are you doing? I was sleeved the 5th as well. I'm in Waco.
  6. Hen logged in on a computer, hover over you profile pic at the top and click on the little down arrow. This opens the dashboard to edit you content. One go the options is to edit tickers. Click on that to create what ticker you want, and at the end you can select to add it to your signature. I hope that helps!
  7. I wish I could burp! Only gurgles here. They hurt.
  8. I just sip, sip, sip. Constantly sipping. Mix it up between sweet flavors and savory broths. This way you don't get burned out on one thing.
  9. Have a wiggle dress that I bought about 7 years ago when I had lost weight. I was maybe one size away from getting into it. Now I'm 5 or 6 sizes away. Sleeved now, and I WILL get into that dress!
  10. Swansons low sodium chicken broth. Only get it warm, not hot. If you can tolerate beef broth, get Swansons brand as well. I made the mistake is getting the Walmart brand and it was NASTY. The chicken broth is rather soothing on the abdominal pain.
  11. I was sleeved on the 5th as well. I am having trouble with trapped gas, especially after each swallow! I am sipping and plugging my nose, trying not to take in air. Getting fluids in ok, but Isopure makes me throw up. Too sweet! My abdomen is still pretty sore, especially around the incisions.but it's not too bad. Sat not was my first night of a good sleep.
  12. I am two days post op. I am sipping on my liquids, not using a straw. I wait until the liquid hits my lips before drawing in. However, I still have air in my tummy after swallowing. I always have to wait for the gurgle to come up before taking another sip. It's uncomfortable and stinks. Any advice?
  13. It's a unit of measurement for weight that the British-English use. You can google it, and find out the pound equivalent. I can't remember what it is. Lol.
  14. I was today. Just very sleepy and a lttle sore. My doc and the hospiral staff are fantastic!
  15. I am now sleeved, gallbladderless, and no more hernia. Life is great!
  16. Have you tried any GasX strips or chewables?
  17. Just asked my personal registered dietitian (aka mom), and she would not say a specific amount because she doesn't know. Her answer: it all depends on your hight and muscle mass. Ie. a body builder over 6' will metabolize way more than a petite, slender woman. Also, IMHO, I do not take info from commercial sites to seriously. While they may give some good info, I think it wiser to see if a site like mayoclinic.org has an answer. Headed there now....
  18. Woohooo!! Checking in at 11. It's a good day. Talk with you all later!
  19. Same here. Tomorrow is V(SG) Day!!!!
  20. I do. I started with the thank yous and it helped. I also learned to return a compliment so that the focus is no longer on me. Im not sure how well this will work when I lose the weight.
