Husband Spying on Me
I agree with the others, the drug issue is the larger problem. Has he always acted this down and out? Is it more recent? If this is a new behavior, then I am inclined to think he is using something. Part of the marriage counseling should be a drug test. If he is using, go to a safe place with your child. The behavior will only get worse, meaning more violent. Prayers for you and your child. PS. an affair is not worth it, IMHO. I have never had one, but my ex did. The impact it had on me was near suicidal, and he lost everything: his friends, job, reputation, family, etc. Now he goes to counseling to deal with the guilt.

I've been a bad girl...BUT....!
Yes I do. I cannot STAND Isopure. It makes me gag. Absolutely hate the stuff. I do better with the nectar mixes. LipstickLady, I will ask about the regular Gatorade. I did better today. about to finish my last bottle to make 64ozs. I did weigh again, and gained 6 lbs from all the liquid intake. I knew my weight loss couldn't have been right. It was sooooo much. Im not disappointed. Just glad that I am no longer loopy! lol.

I want to ride my bicycle, i want to ride my bike...
Believe it or not, the gentlemen will get used to it the more you ride. Meaning, A LOT of riding. If you are going to be a casual rider, then perhaps the cruiser/fat seat is best. And trust me, the shorts with the chamois (padding) does NOT really help. It is meant more to prevent chaffing.

I've been a bad girl...BUT....!
My doc and Nut are both strict about sports drinks being sugar free. I had a Powerade zero, a big bottle, and I sipped on it for three days. I got sick of it. lol I picked up some Syntax nectar so that I can stay on top of the Protein and the liquid. Im still so tired though. Not like before, but I do nap for about 5-10 mins to feel better.

I've been a bad girl...BUT....!
Ok, so for some odd reason, the whole week out of surgery has had me sleeping most of the time. I feel drunk. So I didn't get all my liquids in. Oops. Had my follow-up appt this morning, and I thought I was going to pass out. They couldn't even get my blood pressure. The doc came in and then immediately sent me to the ER for a bag of fluids. Lesson learned: SIP SIP SIP!!! I was so dehydrated that the nurses blew two veins trying to get the IV in. I did not know that veins go flat when you are dehydrated, but they do! BUT...at my weigh in, I have hit Onederland! WOOHOO!! Started at 220, lost 7 during pre-op diet, then 19 more just this week. Sadly though, some of that loss is muscle mass. No liquids in, means no Protein went in either. I am feeling so much better since the IV, and I promise that I am determined to get my 64 in today and from now on. I do not want to go back to the ER.

I guess you are meaning hot tea? I have done tea parties for kids since I work at a victorian house museum. Our HEB stores have a great strawberry tea that kids love. They just stir in the sugar. I am not sure if you want black or herbal, bit you can get various flavors in both. It is important to note that buying cheap tea is a gamble. Stick with brands you know like Lipton, Bigalow, or Twinnings. Barnes and noble cafes and some grocers carry Republic of tea wh ich is great also. I recommend you start with something that has fruit in it. Blackberry Sage by rep of Tea is a great one. More fruity than herby. Ginger peach as well. They are also black teas, not herbal. If its caffiene you want, get black tea based. I have a huge assortment of teas at home. If you like I will be happy to send you a sample pack. Just let me know what you like! PM me so we can hash things out.- 6/11/10 - three years ago my life changed
Happy 3rd surgiversary!!!!- Surg tomorrow clear liquid diet today
Hmmmm..... HEB brand is ok too. Just DON'T get Walmart brand!!! Just get a can of Swansons rather than the big box, in case you don't like it either. Some people on the forum seem to just not like plain broth. It's all about tastes, I suppose.- Already sleeved JUNE-bees!
Just have to brag, and SO SHOULD YOU!!!! For those of you who have been sleeved this month already, how much have you lost total, and how much of that was since surgery? I got on the scale an hour ago. I have lost 20 LBS SO FAR!!!! 13 of that has been since surgery on the 5th. I dont feel a change in my yoga pants, so I was shocked! Soooo? How about you? Lets give the rest of the June-bees something to REALLY look forward to!- Surg tomorrow clear liquid diet today
What brand are you using? I know that sounds silly, but there is a difference. I grew up on Swansons, and bought Walmart brand to save money. the Walmart brand made me gag! It was tooooooo over-seasoned. Swansons is just broth, and is milder in taste. Watering down the Walmart stuff didnt help either. That is all I can think to tell you.- having anxiety :(
Just breathe. The anxiety is normal. I was sleeved on the 5th, and had it about 2 weeks out too. Make yourself comfortable with your surgeon. Do you question his ability, do you know his bedside manner? Have you met him face to face? This was a huge calming factor for me. i wont say that I wasnt a little nervous the day of, but not like the anxiety I had. If you are worried about nausea, talk to your doctor or nurse NOW about having them prescribe a nausea medicine. My doc has all patients pick up prescribed pain killers and nausea medicine the day before surgery. We use it as needed when we leave the hospital. At the hospital, they should be giving you something through the IV. I still gagged when I sat up to do the walking, but it was caused by the movement of the gas into my lungs and I was coughing so hard to get it out. I am told this is rare. Most will burp or toot it out. so...lucky me. : / In all, it wasnt the bad because the stomach is so numbed up. I didn't feel any pain. There should be nothing in the stomach, so nothing should come up. Just breathe....- AVOCADO?
Thank you for asking this. I hadn't thought of avocado. HOORAY for avocados!!!- Confrontational People
just my two cents, but lot of what we read, we read with our own inflection and I think many forget this. the person typing could be trying to calmly and rationally layout a case for their frustration, and then other users read it with yelling and screaming in mind. That being said, I know this does not apply to all cases. There is one user in this thread...maybe two...that I feel attack and belittle others for posting an opinion. I dare not call them out, because I am afraid that I am misreading their words with my own inflection, AAAAAAAND they have also made many valuable contributions to the whole forum in general.(My problem is that I do not read sarcasm as well as hearing it. :/ ) I chose to ignore what I believe to be uncalled for, and try to take from their post what I can. I appreciate these two more than I want to be mother hen to them. Another factor johnlatte hit the nail on the head! Anonymity brings courage to say what you will, and your computer screen is the wall that protects you. So yes, I have seen users say some outrageous and nasty things on this website because of that reason. putting soap box back under the couch now. thank you for letting me speak.- Ignore user?
Oh, thank you, Jesus!!! It would kill me to know that I had offended good friends.- June 2013 Sleevers! "The List"

Ok, now even I am paranoid! I'm not getting the hints since I am out of the loop. If it was me, I sincerely apologize.- Ignore user?
