  3. Sorry that should say Kelli.
  4. Good to here it all comes back Kalli.I don't think there's any way of preventing it.Luckily I have a lot of hair.
  5. oh and one BAD thing ,my hair has started to fall out. What about you Bec and Misty as we are similar times.
  6. Hi to all and welcome any Newies .Congrats Bec we are traveling on similar paths .I am down 28 kilos since starting .This is including 2 weeks preop so that's about 8 th may. Each month changes for me and the amount and types of food certainly have changed. So to any new people don't despair as I don't think there is anything I can't eat.Just much smaller portions.I hope this never changes.I think this is going to be the best thing I have done for myself.
  7. Thinking of you Aussiegirl.Hope it all went well.xx
  8. Hi everyone,I haven't been on for a while but I am still reading all your posts. For me the last few weeks seems to be very slow but if this had been an ordinary diet I would have quit by now and the weight plus more would be on.One more kilo till the magic double figures. My own personal goal.Cant weight.Keep going everyone, love reading it all.

great idea Bec,take it slow.Im good I have lost 20 kg including 2weeks of Optifast.I was done on may 22nd so all together it's about9weeks.Sometimes I feel it's a bit slow cause 7 of it was the opti but when you work it out over the weeks I'm going ok.
  11. Yes this is what I love about this op.I had the band years ago and it was nothing but trouble.Still all about learning for me.Thankyou to all of you.

Hi Bec, how's the solids going?Great weight loss .Keep up the good work.
  13. I agree with the others nicki, didn't cross my mind either.I think I was more concerned about getting a leak.I personally feel like I have so much more energy and am still adjusting to this new way.My surgeon "Dr Tim Wright"never told me how much stomach he was removing and it wasn't a question I thought to ask.All he said to me was its a fine line in getting it right. If you don't take enough you don't loose well and if you take to much there's all kinds of problems. He had specialised in banding for years but had only fairly resently started doing sleeves.Because I knew him and had seen him before I chose him but he had only done about 25 sleeves. All of you talk about your visits to your surgeons.I feel I haven't had that support.I saw him when I booked and the day of my op.Thats it.He relies on the dietician. In sayin that I have no regrets.Good luck with your choices and I'm sure the sleeve would work for you.
  14. hi Sara, what makes you think your dr didn't take enough stomach?Just wondering cause I think I I want to eat more and haven't experienced that full feeling.I don't but I'm concerned.
