  1. You will not regret it once it is completed and you are healed . Complications can happen but I will pray you are complication free....one day at a time!
  2. Way to go! I have started couch to 5K on the treadmill so I hope it won't be too long before I can say I completed my first 5K
  3. It took me a total of 4 weeks to really start feeling like myself again. I still have to pay attention to my body because when it tells me I need to rest, it means NOW Give yourself time and be kind to yourself.
  4. I have lost between 500-750 lbs in my life.....why was I 269 when I got my lapband and why had I gained 30 when my lapband had slipped. i knew I couldn't do it by myself so I have the sleeve to help me along lifes journey now!

  13. I have shrunk 3/4" in the last few years...they told me it was age

I actually had band removal, hernia repair and the sleeve in one procedure and, from what I have read, my recovery time and advancement through the stages have been comparable to others with just sleeve surgery. Thereis a forum on the main forum menu for Lapband to sleeve revisions you might want to check out. Good luck with your journey!

  17. I am a March 20th revision and feel tired a lot (working full time and have to travel once a week). Other than that, life is soooooooo much better than with the band! I am having cottage cheese, refried beans, creamed soup, along with sf Popsicles and pudding. I am drinking one whey protein shot a day. Hope everyone else continues to do well!

  20. Hi Everyone, I am relatively new to this site but decided to introduce myself since I will be having revision surgery next Wednesday the 20th. Not only am I having the band removed and sleeve done, I have to have a hernia repair and TIP due to band slipage...any pre-surgery pointers will be greatly appreciated. Liggleliggle
