  2. I was one of those people who had nausea since the day of my surgery. I felt nautious all the times, especially first thing in the morning. Finally my doc gave me some Zofran that helps patents with nausea after surgery. It was hard for me to take any sort of pill with an upset stomach, but luckily these dissolve and taste fruity. It was a life saver. I was only on them for three or four days and the nausea finally went away. I haven't had it since. Hang in there things do get better. This is just a small speed bump on the road to the new you.
  3. Week four was like a new me. I didn't have much pain, but I did have a lot of nausea. I have never had a hernia surgery so I do not know what the recovery expectations are. Nine days it not very long. I would give it more time and see how you feel. I am sure you will feel better soon. Remember your body has twice as much to get acustomed to. The sleeve surgery alone is a big change to your body. Be patient and hang in there.
  4. I was sleeved on April 19th and was severly nausiated for the next five days. I finally felt better on the sixth day. It just finally subsided. Hang in there it will get better.

Moments away from getting on the shuttle to Mexico. No turning back now. Everyone here has given me the courage to move onward. It's my turn.
  9. Hello everyone. I This is my first post. I just joined today after almost a year researching this forum. I am scheduled for April 19th with Dr. Juan Antonio Lopez Corvala in Tijuana. So very excited. I don't think it has quite hit me yet. I never really thought it would be my turn. Hope to make lots of new friends and start my new and improved life.
