MICKEYMANTLE got a reaction from GoldyGirl in HUGE fight with the Hubster
sorry to say but your not ready for the sleeve yet , first you need to get to a good therapist to work on your eating disorder and see your surgeon about adjusting your band , your band did not fail you , there are no health problems from your band , you need to learn to work your tool , the sleeve is just a different tool and if you can't work your band the sleeve will fail also
the ds might be a better choose for you when you are ready for a revision, but till you can get your eating under some kind of control none of them will work
your hubby does not think you need to lose weigh maybe he is right , you have not said what your weight is so we don't know , I have seen girls
that weigh 65 lbs think they need to lose weight and yes there are some real crappy doctors out there that will do the surgery on them for the right price
if your hubby is worried about you maybe he is right , if he is wrong prove him wrong

good thing they caught it , shore you will be fine and after you are well, your insurance should pay for plastics for a nice new set the size you want
make shore you eat right have all your doctors talk to each other so that they know your needs
heal fast

MICKEYMANTLE got a reaction from lifechange in bag for the hospital ladies!
I WAS TOLD BY DOCTOR NO PHONES or tablets, or other valuables, can't use the cpap right after surgery , air goes into your stomach under pressure , hospital will supply pads if you need them also tooth brush and paste, soap
they may not allow gas x or candy
the padded socks they give you are easiest to just leave on and have the nurse change every day so no slippers are needed , 2 hospital gowns work fine instead of a robe , which may get stained
best thing to bring is a loved one that will take care of you without getting on your nerves
you probably will not read much my hubby was in the hospital for 2 surgery s a week each time and only read like 4 pages, he brought 4 books with him
do not bring anything from work you will not be able to trust your judgement for a week or so ,
your job is to walk sip and rest

MICKEYMANTLE reacted to Can'tweight in The Official What You Will Need For Your Upcoming Weightloss Surgery Thread!
Not sure how other sleevers have figured out how to keep their food from getting cold by taking 30-45 minutes to eat, but I ordered this online for me. I know...it's for babies...but it'll work for me with Portion Control as well. Here's the link if anyone is interested:
