I think (could be completely wrong) it is when you weigh less than 200lbs, ex. 198lbs. Head hunger is when your head tells you to eat, but you don't physically feel the need. For instance, most of the time I get hungry when watching tv, even if I only ate dinner an hour before. Boredom is one of my big triggers of head hunger.

I am 4 days out postop. I'm having a very hard time getting my liquids in. I spoke with my nurse today and she said to go with the Water over Protein so I don't get dehydrated. I did walk for about an hour and 20 minutes in Walmart today and hoping to continue walking each day. I'm having a hard time moving as the larger incision is still painful. I am just now releasing gas and have not had a bowel movement. There were no complications with my surgery so any suggestions regarding the belly pain would be greatly appreciated. I am also a belly sleeper so finding it very hard to sleep. I am able to tolerate about a half a Jello at a time, of all popsicle and tomorrow I will be adding some Soups. Good luck to all those who are sleep this month

    Question/concern:
I am 1 week out---sleeved on the 25th-- and I keep reading that everyone one can only eat part if a Popsicle or 1/2 there lil Jello or A few bites of yogurt or pudding etc.....
I don't seem to have this issue-- I'm not really hungry and am still doing the clear liquids- I'm scared to move to quick and mess anything up .
I can have a full Popsicle and jello etc I can easily have 2 oz of liquid at a time and in guess I'm worried that is not normal or something I'd wrong w me-- I've even accidentally drank big drinks instead of the lil sips that we should and it doesn't seem to bug me---
Will this be an issue later do u think? It just doesn't seem 'normal' like others experiences......,
    Thanks!

I went shopping at Walmart today just to get out of house. Felt good to get dressed and walk around and browse. One week post op tomorrow. I'm ready for something other than Clear Liquids
