  1. I am getting the sleeve on 3/11 and am almost 2 weeks into my 3 week pre-op liquid diet. The diet isn't too difficult but I do miss food and it is making me kind of depressed. I am scared but going to do it anyway because I want to get healthy again and live a long life. Can anybody tell me if food will be enjoyable again? I have read so much and lots of people say they can't eat still or don't want to eat still after several months post surgery. Food has been my constant companion and best friend for so long, I just can't imagine never enjoying the taste of it or looking forward to a great meal. I don't have a problem with only being able to eat just a bit of it but I do want to think I will enjoy what little bit I can eat. Can anybody give me some guidance here? Did anybody have these same feelings? My mind is telling me right now that maybe I won't be happy, even if I do get thin, if I can no longer enjoy food. I am so screwed up!! Thanks!
