I have battled my weight all of my life. I always considered myself bigger than my peers. In 2011 I had breast reduction surgery which helped a lot with my appearance. After the surgery, I managed to lose some weight but I still was unable to get under 200lbs. After several attempts, I started to gain again. I am almost 39 years old with a happy-go-lucky young spirit and I just want my body to match how I feel on the inside. I have a great life, great family, and friends. This was my decision because it is for me and about me. Thankfully my family is on board and excited for me. Yay me!!!! I have prayed about this and my surgery date is Valentine's Day; 2/14/2013. I will keep you all posted on my journey.
