  2. Oh and that's my birthday! Happy bday to me
  3. Oct 3rd for me! A little less than 6 weeks away!
  4. You are doing awesome! Hope u are proud of yourself! I hope I can do mine next month-eek!
  5. That's interesting. They said just to bring my mask to the hospital so I don't think they'll be checking for compliance. They did say they'd like me to wear it for at least 2 weeks beforehand. I will try my best. Will be on all clears liquid diet at the same time so no sleep plus no food = scary Melissa lol.
  6. Thanks for the info! I have an auto cpap. I'm thinking I need to keep trying the machine as much as I hate it. I will have to wear it for surgery so I should try to get used to it somewhat. I'm sorry you have apnea too, it's no fun.
  7. I can't tolerate my cpap and I am exhausted. Like all day long crushing exhaustion. It's terrible. It's making my life miserable. Just needed to vent, it's getting me down today. I'm so hoping my surgery in 6 weeks will help fix this so I can start living again. Anyone have the same problem?
  8. I take it and I was told it's ok to take after surgery. Yay!
  9. I have a ninja chopper and it works pretty well.
  10. Congrats on your great recovery! I hope I'm like u in a few weeks
  11. Yep Angie, all those things you mentioned are allowed. I'll make it through somehow, come hell or high water I'm getting this surgery!!
  12. Anyone ever heard of this? They didn't say anything about shrinking the liver, just that it's instead of a bowel prep. And when I say clear liquids I mean that's it, no protein shakes or anything. How will I manage this without starving to death!?! Most people can at least have a shake. Im assuming they just want to flush out your system. Do you think this is better than a bowel prep? I really want to do good and follow the drs orders. This just seems really tough. Anyone ever heard of the clear only preop diet?
  13. Wow! Look at those legs! Great job girl!
  14. I sent you a request! I'm still preop until 10/3
  15. So sorry about the death of your husband. You are strong and will do great in a few days. Good luck and keep us posted on how u are doing.
  16. I think it's like an abundance of sticky saliva and foam. Supposedly not a fun experience. maybe a post oper will chime in and let us know for sure.
  17. I'm sorry they are messing with your meds. I assume it has something to do with the surgery? I am on abilify and lamictal and clonazepam. I hope whatever they switch you to works well for you. If not you get up their behinds about getting it right
  18. Prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery!
