  1. It's basically going back to the post op stages to restart your weight loss. Most people lose 5-10 pounds during the test
  2. Try the 5 day pouch test. It's suppose to help get through stalls. Day 1 and 2 you do only protein shakes and liquids Day 3 is soft protein Day 4 is firm protein Day 5 is solid protein
  3. Am I the only one that feels like I have to eat all day in order to get my protein and 900 calories in? I never would've thought eating would be so hard. Not as in painful but a pain as 4-5 bites and I'm full or half a shake n it's the same thing. I kinda feel like a little piggy when I eat every 2-3 hours. Lol anyone have this problem or any suggestions?
  4. I just paid attention to how terribly wrong I spelled discouraged. Lol
  5. I was sleeved in February. I've lost 50 pounds since surgery 65 pounds all together but physically I can't tell a difference. Clothes still fit pretty much the same. It's depressing I thought things would be happening faster. Does anyone else have this issue?
  6. I've been working out and trying to figure out ways to get these thighs to shrink and tighten!!! Any advice is welcomed!
  7. Try fresh pineapple not canned. The enzyme bromelain in it helps break down the protein we digest.
  8. It's from acid in my stomach. Surgeon had me to put on my nausea patches and take some tums and it's stopped. Thank God I was sooooo miserable
  9. I was sleeved on 2/19. I'm still on liquids but having an extremely hard time getting them in due to the "slimes". No matter what I drink it happens. I haven't taken in protein because the sliming mixed with the shakes consistency makes me dry heave like crazy. At this point I don't know what to do.
  10. I was sleeved on the 19th it's definitely gas. As you walk move your shoulders around. For some reason that's where all my gas was caught. I was only getting out small burps until yesterday when I finally had a bm and passed gas. It's been coming out pretty good since then
  11. Only things that helped me was sleeping sitting up and walking almost every hour. It's such a relief to no longer have the pains
  12. I tried the strips and the chewables they only caused me to vomit, especially the chewables.
  13. No it was necessary because I was burping regularly. Today has been much better finally had a bm and passed gas. Never been so happy to do those things in my life.
  14. I've never wanted to pass gas so bad in my entire life. Im on day 3 post op and I'm beyond miserable!!!!!! Even when walking I might get a couple of burps out I know the gas isn't leaving like it needs to. I use the gas x strips and walk around the house every hour. I've yet to pass a single fart. I'm feeling like crap. I need help!!!! Advice please!!!!!
  15. I was sleeved yesterday. I'm down 20 pounds from preop. The gas pains were horrible when I first woke in recovery but since then it hasn't been too bad. I've had a c-section so it's kinda like I'm reliving that experience. Lol
