  1. I'm not to goal yet, but already lost 1/2 size. :-) I'm glad.
  2. Great advice, I agree. You will be just fine. I always say...Let your body "do it's thing".
  3. I can't wait to not avoid all if the sexy heels I always admire as I walk by the shoe dept. Can't wait to not have to shop plus sized. Can't wait to not have to keep checking my underarm flab to see the progress & if they still look like granny arms.
  4. This post brought tears to my eyes. It is very positive & filled with Victory!! I'm so happy for you. The NSVs are awesome! They give us hope when the scale is being mean, lol! Congrats on your success thus far & you will continue to do just fine friend!! :-)
  5. Pure Protein Frosty Chocolate sold at Walmart. Very good, just is thick.
  6. Here it comes, phone just moving slow. I'm excited about trying this out!
  7. Okay, finally able to get to download it to my phone. I'm looking at blank screen, but let's see...
  8. You're almost at goal!! Congrats!!
  9. So, one of my goals is to become a boxer. I'm currently reading up on it & slowly training myself. What I'd like is a great DVD or set of DVDs that will instruct me on how to box. Suggestions?? I know that I can hire someone to train me, but the guy I talked to wants about 300 per mo. Ummm....that's not in my budget right now. Any tips, advice, help would be greatly appreciated! I'm all ears guys & gals. :-) Thanks
  10. WELCOME!! BEST WISHES...WILL PRAY THAT IT ALL WORKS OUT FOR YOU. GLAD THAT YOU'VE POSTED TO SHARE YOUR STORY. WE ALL WISH YOU WELL.
  11. Good luck hun!
  12. I was on the pill (Trinessa) right after surgery & had no issues. I've switched to the Depo & still no issues. I prefer the Depo cause it's like get it & forget it. If your concern is possibly gaining weight on BC, think about how much weight you'll gain if you get preggo! Yikes!
  13. Wow, good point about wanting to let people know how far you've come. I was instantly bothered when you said people yelled that out of their windows...How rude & evil!! God help them. You use that to motivate you for every single lb that you drop & even though you may never "see" them again, when you hit goal, just shout "IN YOUR FACE!!!" Keep up the great work & keep celebrating every success, great & small. Do things that make you happy & continue to work on the inner you one day at a time. You will transform, body & mind, just let it come naturally. Keep your head up & I wish you the best.
  14. This site has really been a huge blessing to me. I looove to update my Ticker when I've had another loss. I enjoy enteracting with others & everything that I learn as well. Also, it feels good to help someone else when needed, because ppl were there for me when I needed it & I'll need it again, lol!
  15. CONGRATS ON YOUR SUCCESS! AWESOME! GREAT WAY TO LOOK AT BEING ABLE TO HELP OTHERS ALSO.
  16. I guess I was typing my comment as you were making your last one, but hopefully it's still helpful! lol
  17. First of all, I understand how you are feeling. You know what? Some of my best motivation & thereafter successes came from others doubting me or a decision that I'd made. Use it as your fuel. As long as you prepare yourself well, mentally, spiritually, "the whole nine", as much as you can & refuse to EVER give up &....also BE PATIENT WITH YOUR BODY DURING YOUR JOURNEY, I don't see how you could lose. My thoughts & best wishes are with you. You got this! We're all here to cheer you on!!
  18. Hmmm...let's see, Bag of Frozen chicken Tenderloins that I prepare 1/2 at a time & eat off it for the week! (soft chicken tacos, chicken salad, chicken w/side item, etc) Can of Refried Beans Spinach (Yummy with my Pomegranate (spelling?, lol) sald dressing eggs Soy Milk (only $1 at Dollar Tree) Flavored sugar free Syrups (again, $1 at Dollar Tree) Plain Oikos Greek Yogurt (add syrups to them) Peanut Butter Ground Turkey Yoplait Frozen Green Yogurt 100 cal serving in vanilla Bean ...I don't wanna make this too long, lol
  19. Best wishes on your journey!! Inbox anytime if there is anything I can help with! :-)
  20. CONGRATS!! Feels good, huh? My advice would be to prepare your mind like you're entering the ring for the fight of your life. Prepare to win. Plan your meals, Water, etc carefully/strategically. DO NOT let the scale control your mind. Look at it & rejoice if there is a loss, but if there is no loss or if there is a gain, be patient with your body. As long as you are doing everything within your power to make it happen, just sit back, relax, & let your body catch up. Also, be creative once you get off the restricted diet. People ask "Can I have this, that, etc", well, I, for example, took a small tortilla (low carb one) & made a pizza with it (only few pepperoni). You can enjoy flavor & texture, & be satisfied while losing weight. I could go on & on...hope this helps. God bless!
  21. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! As far as advice, the ladies above have nailed it. Hang in there!!
