    IMAGINE IF...WOULD YOU?

Confession...I just had to google the definition of incinerate! LOL...
  6. First I want to say that this post is just for fun. I just happened to think to myself the other day...If there was a such thing as getting VSG & then being able to somehow have my regular sized stomach back AFTER I reach goal, Would I do it??????? If it were possible, which we know it's not & easily done...Would I do it?? What do you all think? Hmmmm....I have mixed feelings. I feel that by time I get to goal, I will have enough experience, training, will power, whatever to be able to live with a normal sized stomach & still maintain the loss. I'd like to see what you all think.

    Disgusting Protein Shots Beware.

No way!!! (hangs head in disappointment) Are they all not usable by the body? I found one that I can tolerate. It's not the best tasting of course, though, but I figured it would help me reach the quota on some days. Please tell me more. Thanks.

    HERE IT GOES...

I've not looked for, asked about, or ran across the proof of this. IDK...but for some things I do my own research & take polls & sometimes the majority wins with me when it comes to things that I feel will not harm me. It actually does help me get my Water down more easily. No probs for me thus far. If my surgeon "swears" that it will cause harm, I shall break up with my straw & find another love...lol!

    Ahhhhhh! Victory!

I also have a pair of jeans in my closet that I can't wait to fit me right. Thing is, I've never been able to fit them. They were given to me from a former co-worker. Whew, it will feel good to get in them. Congrats for your Victory! I know it feels great!!!!

anyone feel GREAT three days out?

It's a little hard to tell how you will feel. Make sure you have something for nausea & try to eat in enough time before you go to try to avoid the possibility of a sour stomach. This is all my opinion. Oh, also, if you have to do a lot of walking due to parking or anything else, I would take a Tylenol before leaving home. These are just a few precautions that popped into my head. I think you'll be fine, though. Stay seated as much as possible. Best of Luck! Have fun! Keep us updated.

hardest workout you have done post op

I've always dreamed of being a runner for some reason. I've been having off/on pain in R knee & finally got it checked out. It's early stages of Arthritis. I'm 30yrs old. No issue with L knee, though. Dr. told me to drop more weight & increase my strength before trying to train to run. It was a minor bummer, but I look forward to meeting that goal one day. I currently walk about 5 days a week on my breaks & lunch at work when I can & I lift free weights. I love Zumba, but I need to wait a little longer cause that's what triggered my last knee pain episode a few wks ago. Hardest workout post-op, mmmm...I'd have to say Zumba.

    HERE IT GOES...

Well, now is the time for everyone to know a little more about me. I'm NOT into drama. I ignore any negative comments & keep it moving. Thanks for all of the input. Have a great day! (Takes a drink from my straw & smiles) On the next visit with my surgeon, we'll see what he says about it.

    Frustrated with negative comments...

Sadly so, you may hear the whole "easy way out" often. You will get to the point where you may just shrug it off. Yes, it is frustrating. I don't blame you for venting at all. It's so hard for so many to understand unless they have walked in our shoes. Congrats on making a decision to better your health. It's one of the best decisions I've made for myself. I wish you the best with your journey. :-)
