I had a hernia..I didn't pay extra..

I use to have Aetna ppo (individual) and they wouldn't cover it. But then I switched to Aetna *** and the covered the hole thing. When I had the PPO I sent Aetna a letter and made ph calls and they always told me NO. Good luck

C-section for me

I am 4weeks post op ...and I felt like you. Sometimes I have flashbacks and feel upset because I can not eat a full meal with my family. But lately I've been feeling better because the scale does go down, I lose weight slow but .. So far I've lost 24 pounds and I am not taking my diabetes meds. (Got off my meds last week) You have to stay positive and think positive and set small goals.

Yes i get anxiety too. I have a business lunch almost everyday with people I don't know well. I don't want to to tell them about my sleeve. If they ask...(sometimes they dont care and dont ask ) What I do is tell them I had a big breakfast and I am still full. I always get salmon or soup.

I am four weeks post op and I can't sleep on my side or stomach. I have to sleep on my back at all times. I have a lot of tenderness all over my abdomen. I called my doc and he said the pain will go away. Give it time he said ... I am still waiting :/

I had my surgery on January 15th2013 also I haven't worked out with a trainer because my surgeon told me to wait. But he did say I can walk or speed walk.

I have trouble drink enough water now after my sleeve. Before my sleeve I could gulp a ton of water at a time. I am only 3weeks post op, but I would like to know how much water can I drink at a time? Can I drink 8oz in 3mins? What is the most amount I can drink in a short period of time

My heart seems to beat fast after I eat. I am three weeks post op. I try and not eat carbs but if I have one cracker with my tuna. My heart starts racing ...I will ask this question to my doc after my next appt

I had the same problem. Take your pain meds. It will help you move around comfortable and get your bowels moving. You just had major surgery.

I felt just like you for the first 10 days...it will go away..you will start to see some weightloss. I am 3 weeks post op and just got off my diabetic meds Hope you feel better soon

A bougie is an instrument the doctor uses to measure and cut your stomach. It's kinda like a cookie cutter for the stomach.

Rxkid2384 I was told by my doc to eat anything I want. In small portions after two weeks. But like you I felt great at day 10 so I tryed different little solids foods and felt fine. I asked my doc about leaks but he said the titanium cord and staples are very strong. And I will be fine. I asked about Beans he said beans should be week 3

I asked my doc and he said Advil was ok to take.
