  1. Food plans vary so vastly from program to program. What did the materials from your nutritionist or surgeon say?
  2. If you don't weigh yourself, you won't experience a "stall" - you are probably still shrinking, you're just not losing muscle, so you don't see the scale moving as fast as you'd like to. Better to lose fat really slow, than muscle really fast! Stay off the scale a week or two, stick to the basics and I'm sure you'll be thrilled to find out you are not "stalling". Take care!
  3. Isopure is the only Protein drink I'll drink. The key is to always try before you buy with this stuff. People rave about Quest bars and to me they taste like a chewy blob of dookie.
  4. Looking great buddy!!! I see you're losing layers of clothes too - you'll be posting nude photos in no time!
  5. VSGKirk replied to Huntingnurse's topic in The Lounge
I went to New Orleans just a few months out of surgery. I lived on shrimp there! Acme Oyster House was a big favorite with the group I was with. I wasn't partaking in copious amounts of alcohol that trip so I tried to find other things to do. So I signed up for a haunted history tour. It was fun and incorporated my new active lifestyle into my love of history and ghosts!
  6. Alpine Punch mixed with diluted Cherry Pomegranate Crystal Light!
  7. I'm doing Danon's Light & Fit Pineapple Greek Yogurt with a few tablespoons of Nature Valley's Protein Granola. I never used to eat breakfast, now I really enjoy it!
  8. I had strange pulling sensations and sensitivities to laying on my side. I think that's normal. You can always mention it to your surgeon or his nurse during your next follow-up just to be sure!
  9. So proud of you... I got goose reading the last paragraph!!!
  10. I can't wait to be overweight!!!! Congrats Amy
  11. I use myfitnesspal as a food diary. I eat what I want and then record it. I like seeing where I fall with my natural eating habits. It's nice too because I'm learning so much about nutrition. The first few weeks were hard, but making new habits always are. Just do your best and don't stress. Stress causes stalls
  12. Ignore the number, focus on how you feel. You are most likely losing inches, btw.
  13. Jami, the turkey chili I demo on my YouTube channel always kept things "moving" for me. I recall also taking a fiber supplement daily back when I was't eat much volume. No one ever got fat from eating pickles, so eat them if you like them!
  14. I pureed just about every variety of Progresso soup known to man!
  15. Glad I bought one of these t-shirts in my partner's size 6 months ago - now it's mine!
  16. I've used them and think they're good. When comparing the cost though, the Premier Protein RTD shakes at Costco just seemed like more protein for the $. Go with what you like and will enjoy :-)
  17. Nique, you'll get through this, all in good time and you'll find that you can eat the things at these places in moderation and feel really good about yourself!
  18. If you choose to say anything, I'd recommend telling the whole truth. Only telling part of the story could be misleading or construed as wls is something to be ashamed about. If you choose not to disclose any of your personal health business, that's a viable option as well!
  19. I buy my IsoPure at GNC (In store) or online on Amazon.com
